This sushi restaurant is a must-try! The fish is incredibly fresh, and the sushi is beautifully presented and delicious. The service is efficient, and the wait times are minimal. I've had consistently great experiences here – highly recommend!

Food and service was good. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Highly recommend the takoyaki. I ended up picking the maki combo B since it had 3 rolls that I tend to order often. The prices to portions are hit and miss compared to other places in the area. Dining room is small so it can get crowded when busy. It was clean and the waitress was very nice. No parking lot but there is paid street parking.

Small dining room, beautiful presentation of delicious sushi, good miso soup. The avocado mango lobster salad was similar to a tuna salad, not what I expected. It was good but I didn't want quite that much wasabi in it. The rest of my party loved the sushi rolls they got and ordered second servings.

Just go to sushi fuku or atarashi in Oakland or ANY other sushi place in the area. You have to pay twice as much here to get the same amount of sushi that you would get at any other sushi place. The $7 price tag looks great but you only get 6 TINY pieces of sushi. The sushi rolls are about the same circumference as a quarter. The rolls at sushi fuku are stuffed and way more affordable. Plus the employees actually have manners. This is my fault for cheating on my favorite sushi spot! I wanted to try something new…lesson learned. Lastly, the miso soup tasted like boiled sugar water. Not only did it have ZERO miso flavor, it was sweetened like a glass of lemonade. How do you mess up miso soup? Even the buffets can always get the miso soup right. The rolls in the reviews look nothing like the roll I received. I guess the type of roll you get depends on how they feel that day, how you look, how much food they have left or the weather. 😂 It’s not consistent customer to customer.

Got delivery from here today, the food was awful!!
Sushi DID NOT taste fresh and the veggie gyoza seemed to be fried in ancient oil- they were dark and tasted awful. Couldn’t even finish my food. And also because it was through a third party app, I now have to fight to get my money back!! Awful! DO NOT go here!!

I got the sashimi/sushi combo. Unfortunately it almost all tasted very off and made me queasy just smelling some of the pieces. I was not able to finish my meal but my wife absolutely loved her food. I have eaten more raw fish than I could count, but perhaps I just had a bad batch this time?
