Very disappointing! I scheduled a reservation through their website and they would not honor the reservation because it didn’t show in their system but I could see it on my phone. Would recommend going some place else. The place is very small and loud so probably would have been an awful experience anyway.

One of the best pizza joints in Pittsburgh! One pizza feeds 1-2 (depending on how much pizza you eat in one sitting), and the quality ingredients are clean and delicious. It's not a cheap corner place, but a great place to go for a sit-down experience with your family, date or friends. Both locations slap.

It’s a great little place with small outdoor seating and a nice bar. The pizza could be better I’ll be honest. Our waitress was a sweetheart.

Service was great, the food was not. The table got different pizzas and different pastas and every one was bland. The gelato was good, but would not recommend the food.

They were overbooked but the servers were incredibly helpful and friendly. The restaurant was closing on 10 minutes and a table of 12 just got their order placed.
The food area was loud and felt cramped.
The three servers I saw working didn't stop moving.
The pizzas were good. The Mozzarella is distinctly different from non fresh and worth a try.
The biggest issue i had was the number of workers to booked customers.
I placed an order online and because they were so busy they weren't able to see that it existed until I arrived to pick it up. They happily prepared the food and solved the problem, but with proper scheduling it shouldn't have been a problem.
Still good food is worth the wait.

Not our first visit, but will be the last during warm weather! Our server was great, pizza was very good but someone needs to either turn up the AC or get it fixed. Nobody likes to be sweating during a meal. The staff was fanning themselves to try to stay cool and there was 1 industrial fan blowing down the hall, not helping any of the diners. We asked our server and were told it had been that way most of the last few weeks. We will likely be back, but never again in the summer unless the temperature is appropriate for indoor dinning (honestly, it was cooler outside due to a breeze than in the restaurant).

The food is spectacular, the service unfortunately was very slow. It was a struggle to get drink refills, know what to do to get Gelato, and get the check. Once we placed the order, the food flew out of the kitchen, though!! Not sure if they were short staffed that night or not. Our server was very friendly and git everything right - we just didn't see her very often.

The good:

the house salad and dressing was crisp and fresh. My daughter loved the bread.

The bruschetta was also very good.

The not so good:

I’ve had their pizza several times at the shady side location. I’ve always felt that the center of the pizza is either too sauced, too oiled (depending on pizza) or just undercooked. You almost need a spoon to eat the first 1/3 of the pizza.

This time we tried a Sicilian. 30 dollars for a cheese pizza. Lol. The crust was very thick and dry. I feel that whoever cut the pizza cut it right out of the oven and didn’t let it rest. The outside edges had zero cheese, little sauce. Again very dry. Basically the outside of the pizza was gigantic crust.

Servers were understaffed / struggling. Our sever seemed to have a bunch of tables and was making mixed drinks.

The temp / humidity in the building was fairly uncomfortable. I’m not sure it that was due to the oven and open floor plan or not. It wasn’t too bad for but the people I was with were not a fan.

I think the gluten free pizza holds up better than the regular pizza.
