Really good! But nobody should charge $12 for a falafel with no side in this or any economy
Mezze offers Lebanese food. The Falafel was fresh and fried in avocado oil. The kibbeh was served with toum aka garlic sauce and was delicious. The tahini shake was good also

delicious lebanese food! the falafel was so crispy, the salad was fresh & the coffee tahini milkshake was delicious!
Dietary restrictions: vegan friendly—including delicious tahini milkshakes! the falafel bowl works without tzatziki
This was a perfect dinner spot. The co-owner working was very friendly and helpful. This was my first time eating Lebanese food and will definitely be back!

Came in today and the gentleman at the front was so kind and informative about all of the food they had to offer and gave me amazing recommendations! I got the falafel bowl and rose cardamom tahini shake and they were amazing! The falafel is easily the best I’ve had in Pittsburgh and the vegetables in the bowl are so fresh and delightful. A bit of a wait but incredibly worth it as it is made fresh! The rose cardamom shake is incredibly strong with the tahini taste but it is a wonderful blend and a great pairing with this food. Will definitely be returning!

Ordered a Kibbeh Bowl and a Tahini Shake.
There was a short wait (10 mins) because everything is made fresh to-order. Not a bad wait time at all!
The Kibbeh was some of the best I've ever had. 3 came with the bowl along with a garlic dipping sauce and some tzatziki. The kibbeh were really big, crispy on the outside, juicy and savoury on the inside with good flavour. (They don't photograph well and I'm sorry for it, but wanted yinz to see how big they are.)
The bowl came separately. It's a base of rice and vermicelli. It has a soft but not mushy texture, honestly a delight to eat. It came with pickles, pickled red onion, cabbage, tomatoes and persian cucumber. Every ingredient was generously portioned.
They gave me so much in my bowl that I've had two meals of it and there's at least that much left. (I eat fairly small portions, but still, extremely generous.) There are enough toppings that it's not all rice the the bowl. Very good ratio.
The bowl was $15 but very much a good value.
The shake I felt a little guilty about at $8, but they use a lot of tahini in it, so you can see the cost is justified.
I got the original Tahini (they have quite a few other options, too!). They didn't skimp on the tahini so it had robust flavour. I've never had a tahini shake but I feel hooked now. It was the perfect consistency and a nice portion size. Not huge, but completely filled. The density of the shake meant I was able to share it and not feel like I was missing out, making this also a really good portion and value.
It's rare I go into a restaurant and don't find some small thing I dislike (all those years working in restaurants does that to your brain) but honestly Mezze was great. 10/10. The interior was spotless, everything tidy and organized. Friendly service. Best part of my day was discovering one of my new favourite places!

Super friendly staff. Falafel is crispy on outside, but still moist on the inside. Best falafel in Pittsburgh.

Really great addition to the neighborhood, reminds me a lot of the falafel joints in New York that I miss. Ordered the falafel wrap with toum and chili sauce and it was very high quality, ready quickly, and a good amount of food for the price. Not a ton of room inside but perfect for takeaway lunching.

Soo fresh & delicious, you can taste the QUALITY of the food here in every bite. The falafel and kibbeh sent my tastebuds into a dance of flavorful bliss as I dipped them into each of the 4 sauces that came with and complemented them perfectly. To top it all off we got the tahini milkshake made with in-house cashew milk, tahini butter, and date syrup. It was divine!!! Initially we had gotten our food to-go but the smell was so inticing we just had to sit down and gobble them up, enjoying each perfectly crunchy bite we took. As we could literally hear our food being made right after we ordered, we had to eat it while it was still hot! I also wish I had taken a picture of the shake but it was so refreshing and devoured within minutes. I cannot wait to go back and try more options on the menu. Absolutely fantastic and worth every penny.
