I ordered on DoorDash last night, truly the best food I’ve had! I ordered Chicken tikka masala and an order of Pan Puri , the quality 1000% , the flavor immaculate. Also the portion size was great!!!! I had never had Pan Puri before and was definitely happy with it, so happy i ordered from here; will be ordering a lot more from here in the future!!! ❤️❤️

Mild 2 Spicy is a fast, casual ghost kitchen in North Oakland, located inside The Mill Food Co., bringing authentic Indian street food. It offers a vibrant, customizable menu where you choose your spice level. The setup is simple, with ordering via a kiosk or online for pickup or delivery, involving no human interaction as food is retrieved from a locker. The service is fast and the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, affordable, well-packed, and ready quickly.
The menu features a variety of dishes bursting with authentic flavors and texture. Popular items include the Aloo Tikki, described as perfectly spiced potato patties, and the Samosa Chaat, a deconstructed samosa loaded with chickpeas, chutneys, raita, and crispy sev. The Masala Dosa is a thin, crispy crepe stuffed with seasoned potatoes, while the Spring Dosa is well-constructed. The Vada Pav is a highlight, likened to a mini burger that hits the spot. Other noted dishes are the Pani Puri, Medu Vada, Idli (light, steamed savory cakes), and Paneer Tikka Rice Curry Bowl. For drinks, the Masala Chai and creamy Mango Lassi perfectly balance the spice. While the food is generally good, flavorful, and satisfying, some find certain dishes, like the Pav Bhaji or Spring Dosa, to be somewhat dependent on chutneys for flavor or a bit flat in seasoning, making it good but not exceptional overall.
The restaurant is also available for catering events and is highly recommended for this purpose. It is convenient for delivery via Uber Eats and DoorDash, making it an easy, must-try spot for delicious, quick Indian street food in Oakland.
