This little gem is a must visit for sure! The owner Lala absolutely has a passion for cooking and it shows in his food. Delicious, fresh and he definitely doesn’t skimp on portions either! The bacon egg sandwich was gigantic and so yummy!

We had an amazing experience at millvale diner. My family and I were walking around millvale and decided to get breakfast. we started at Pamela's but didn't have time to wait in the long line. So we went over to try Millvale diner. seated immediately and waited on by Lala, the hilarious owner and cook. the food was amazing and fresh and was a very generous amount for the price. we had a great time and look forward to visiting again.

Millvale Diner has great food at very reasonable prices. We have been coming here once every couple months for about 5 years. The owner is always friendly and makes delicious meals quickly. My only complaint is that I wish he had another employee… a server would definitely help!

Parking: There are probably 5-6 parking spots in a small side lot.

I googled local diners and was introduced to this place. My two year old wanted pancakes and we visited today for the 1st time. The owner is very kind and passionate about providing a great experience, and of course, delicious food. Also, portion sizes are huge. I let him know we'll be regulars. Totally recommend this place to others!

Some of the best hash browns I’ve ever had! Excellent service and very nice owner, who does everything himself and takes great pride in his business. A great place to slow down, relax, and enjoy the friendly atmosphere.

The people there could not be more personable. We were greeted immediately by Steve who seated us and got our drinks. Chef then came and took our orders. He has such a sense of humor and is so friendly. I ordered the Greek omelet which was overstuffed with spinach, olives, green peppers and onions as well as feta. The omelet was served with toast and home fries. Delicious as usual. The placed was filled to capacity by the time we left. Great food. My omelet was $9.99

Millvale Diner is a staple in my weekly eating routine. The owner works here by himself and consistently puts out delicious food while waiting tables, cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, and running the register. It's sad to see customers be disrespectful and ignore such basic things like the "please wait to be seated" sign...This is one man doing the best he can! It's impressive to see such dedication and love he pours into making his customers happy,One bite at a time.Best omelette in town!

I went here to try something different. The food was great. The service, not so much. I walked in, it took them 7 min to seat me. It took 15 min for them to take my order. On top of that, it took 19 min to pay after I ate. I had a bad experience. The food was good, the staff was nice, service was terrible. I won't eat here again.

Fantastic small place in Millvale. Do not overlook this diner. The owner is friendly and the food came out quickly and is great.Had the steak and egg omelet while my friend had the Reuben omelet. Both were absolutely excellent! Highly reccomend both if you're in Millvale or even just in Pittsburgh looking for a quality breakfast!

Food is alright a solid B grade. Service is Ok, C grade. Perks: some parking, bar seating, large TV for morning shows, games, news. Lottery tickets, keno. Only permitted 1 refill of coffee. Ala cart sides have quantity requirements. Need to purchase 2 of some. Ex..eggs, bacon, etc. Price is standard, not expensive or cheap. Service may take long. I waited 25 mins just to place my order, tho the food did come out pretty quick. The host will seat you & get your drink but that's it. Need to wait for the owner to take your order, cook & check you out. Seems like the employee is only permitted to seat, give, beverages & get condiments, silverware...etc. If you want a full fledged quality breakfast experience, I'd recommend the Lincoln Pharmacy/Pamela's P& G across the street.

Got there dude pointed to our table didn’t say anything. Next guy brings us menu we say thank you he just ignores us. We looked at our menus expecting him to come right back over for drinks because there are 5 other people in there but they are all served. We wait 10 minutes and nothing so we walked out.

Huge portions and very fair prices. I definitely got value for my money. Ordered the bacon cheese steak sub and it arrived quickly and hot. When I complimented the iced tea, the owner was kind enough to give me a few bags to try here at home. If I lived near here I would visit all the time.

Stopped by when I was in the area and no one was inside so I was skeptical. But, after the French toast and perfect over-medium eggs came out, I’m a true fan. The French toast was so good it was crispy and light like it was deep fried. Definitely recommend a stop here.

Best local diner! This is a one man diner. Everything is made fresh. No waitresses on duty, but may have occasional helpers. He will seat you as he can serve you. Makes excellent food and makes sure it is cooked and served hot. Be patient and you will receive a great breakfast/dinner.
