I brought my son and his wife here (they have never been)The food tasted good but was cold and so was the inside of the restaurant there were elderly people and children visibly cold bundled up.Management should be sure to keep the dining room 68 to 70 degrees and the food should be at least warm I was quite disappointed

I love this restaurant and traveled half an hour to eat here, only to find that it’s closed due to a “day of service.” I completely respect that they do this, but it would be nice if they updated their hours on Maps or posted this on their Facebook so people would be aware of the closure!

Delicious food, order ready on time, and the staff are above and beyond. I also love that they always quality check food before handing it to customers.
Update: Recently I’ve been ordering and my brisket is dry and has funky flavor. And the moist brisket is mostly dried with even more funky and oxidization. Not to mention the minimum smoke flavor and seasonings. I don’t know what happened, but clearly the restaurant quality is degrading

There's something particularly hypocritical about a business that uses military service as part of their business strategy and then blocks two handicap accessible spots with their branded vehicle.
They park their large Mission BBQ truck illegally in the access aisle between the two accessible parking spaces. This is a clear violation of federal ADA and PA state law.

First of all, I live in TX. I travel all over the country and have always said I won’t get BBQ on the road unless I want to compare a well known type (KC, Carolina, Memphis). I had a craving and walked in Mission BBQ to see what I could get. I opted for the brisket sandwich. It was pretty good. I liked having multiple sauce options. The mac & cheese hit the spot as well. The caramel apple cobbler was absolutely delicious. The best part, though….the service! In a society that seems to have a decline in service. Every single person I encountered at Mission BBQ had a smile on their face and genuinely seemed glad to be there. I’m leaving Pittsburgh tomorrow, but I know where I will go next time I’m in the area.

Tuesday 6:30 p.m. me and my wife and my two children decide to go to mission BBQ. There is a line the restaurant is full. Wife orders food. Food takes about 7 minutes. They call our name we pick up the food pulled pork ice cold. How can that be we waited for them to make the food. Anyhow we mentioned that the pulled pork is cold everybody was super apologetic and they brought out new pulled pork fast and it was hot and that was nice. But at that point I noticed that nothing was really hot other things were warm and the buns The buns were stale and the cornbread was kind of stale I'm not one to complain I love mission BBQ everybody in there is super nice and they were really busy why would the buns be stale why would the cornbread be stale why would the pork be cold I don't know. But I do know I spent $98 and I'm not happy for $98 you think that you would get food you like that taste good that's up to standards... Well I go back I'm not quite sure did I go back in the past Yes just used to be one of my favorite places Love the atmosphere The food generally is pretty good

The food was fantastic, the place was packed, the staff was very patient and helpful (especially since it was my first visit). My only issue was value for money. The portions relative to what you pay seemed expensive. Delicious, but pricey.
