I love this restaurant and traveled half an hour to eat here, only to find that it’s closed due to a “day of service.” I completely respect that they do this, but it would be nice if they updated their hours on Maps or posted this on their Facebook so people would be aware of the closure!

Delicious food, order ready on time, and the staff are above and beyond. I also love that they always quality check food before handing it to customers.

Update: Recently I’ve been ordering and my brisket is dry and has funky flavor. And the moist brisket is mostly dried with even more funky and oxidization. Not to mention the minimum smoke flavor and seasonings. I don’t know what happened, but clearly the restaurant quality is degrading

First of all, I live in TX. I travel all over the country and have always said I won’t get BBQ on the road unless I want to compare a well known type (KC, Carolina, Memphis). I had a craving and walked in Mission BBQ to see what I could get. I opted for the brisket sandwich. It was pretty good. I liked having multiple sauce options. The mac & cheese hit the spot as well. The caramel apple cobbler was absolutely delicious. The best part, though….the service! In a society...
