Stopped in here for a coffee and the woman working offered to brew it fresh for me which was very nice of her to do, and not only did it taste good when it came out but it was relatively cheap too. On top of all that, she even offered to give me one to go and I walked away with a large coffee to take home with me for free. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Beer and alcohol selection is fantastic! Their chili dog is amazing! The food is priced well and the portions are large. Its on western ave/blvd 2 long blocks from the bookstore at ccac. Its my go to when i get out of class at noon.

The cheesesteak’s meat tasted overpoweringly of black pepper and the peppers and mushrooms were watery like they were frozen. The deli sandwiches are expensive to come with no side. 1 appetizer (served with paper plates) and 2 sandwiches was $40 before tipping.

Modern Cafe is a great place for locals in the Northside or for people in town for the game who want to feel like a local. You might bump into Randy from the infamous Randyland here, the food will be good, and the drink options are great. The outdoor bistro tables are the classic sign that spring has arrived. Sit, eat, drink, and people watch for hours.

The female bartender working lunch yesterday has a serious attitude problem and was very rude. She was throwing menus and acting like a child because me and my employee went in the room where the food is prepared and placed our order there. It was our first time here and it looked like a dining area where you could place an order and the guy cooking the food who was really nice took our order. If the bartender does not want people going in that room and placing an order, maybe you should put a sign up or a door. But to treat first time guest to your restaurant that rude is unacceptable.

Rating is for the service, we did not end up having any food. But the bartender that helped us out with drinks for the time that we were there was very nice. We ended up playing some darts and just talking to some of the locals who also were nice. Originally it we almost went to the bar across the street but this fit what we were looking for much better.
