A salad that costs $15 has both rotten avocado and bland dry chicken. Only thing worth the meal were the $6 cheese fries

Great no nonsense place to get drinks and some really great sandwiches, at a reasonable price too! Their sandwiches all looked amazing, with their egg sandwich with mozzarella sticks being unholy and delicious. Sadly they don’t come with fries, but I absolutely think they’re worth getting as a side, they were the best kind of classic crinkle cut, love it!

I'm going for five stars after ordering lunch and a beer at the counter. The server/bartender was so nice and helpful even though super busy. The MonYough corned beef sandwich was out of this world, paired with a fresh-tap Brew Gentlemen General Braddock IPA which I've not had before (live in NYC). Super friendly place with an art deco vibe well done. Great lunch experience.

Went on a first date here three years ago, but I still think this place is amazing and it will always be a happy memory for me. The Spartan is amazing, the spicy Italian is good and the chef and bartenders/waitstaff are incredible. Service is fast and friendly, too. Always wanted to try the breakfast menu so if I come back it will be in the early day hours! Really adorable 1930s vibes, lots of local history on the walls and a gorgeous original wooden bar setup. Was lucky enough to meet a local Pittsburgh staple/Northside artist there one day, still in his painters overalls! The ice block windows are incredible and the outdoor neon signage is a wonderfully preserved piece of architecture. Staff really made every visit for me a special one.

This place has some history to it. The music was a great playlist full of 80's tunes when we were there. The volume was just right and not too loud.
We were served right away. I really liked the Gyro salad and pita chips.
They have some great beers on offer as well as liquor. I saw one of the coolest beer taps there I have seen in a while too!

Our first time in Pittsburgh visiting from St. Louis to watch some baseball. Food and atmosphere was amazing… Service was great. We highly recommend. Dre was the bartender and she was so good. The Pittsburgh cheesesteak was delicious.!

Food was delicious and cooked well. Service took a while but they were very friendly, might be understaffed like a lot of places. Overall it was a good experience and would go back. Recommend the chicken veg sandwich.
