My husband and my mom threw me a 40th birthday party at The Monkey Bar. We had the huge porch to ourselves, wonderful wait staff, and the management was great to work with! Highly recommend looking into this place for events - truly perfect evening!!

I’ve been to Monkey Bar 100+ times. Today I brought my father in law and sister in law for the first time from out of town. Sadly, we were treated like total outcasts. I watched 2 waitresses go to every table but ours numerous times until a new girl came in for her shift. It was almost like we weren’t their problem so “oh well”. In fact, they wouldn’t even look at us to try and get our attention. I never write reviews, but this was very disheartening from a repeat customer. Especially for a day I brought extended family bc I brag about this place.

This place is rude. I accidentally spilled a beer and tossed out immediately. I wasn't intoxicated, I wasnt rude, yet got the boot. I will never return. The food is very subpar.
The food is fantastic and the drinks are very reasonably priced great atmosphere and staff!!

We went on a Friday night after reffing, there were a lot of us so it was understandable that it took a while for them to bring our food, I ordered the Steak Gorilla, it was honestly kind of disappointing, with the name Gorilla I was expecting a larger sandwich, it was not, in fact it was kind of small, Did not live up to the hype of what i was expecting.

Wasn't too busy, sat at a table for 20 minutes, no one came over to even take a drink order. Moved to the bar, 3 bartenders right there, completely ignored us. We couldn't get their attention and eventually just left.
