This Monte Cello's is absolutely wonderful! I frequently order from here, mostly delivery. They have a meat sauce that is addictive. I always order double meat sauce, it's that good. Every time I call, every person has been friendly, polite and professional. Deliveries are usually done in less time than quoted. I highly recommend this restaurant.

If I could rate this a negative star I would. We ordered chicken salad and calzones tonight. As I was eating the salad I found a dead bug mixed in. I would not recommend eating here.

A group of us enjoyed our meals and apps: apple walnut salad with grilled chicken, veal parmesan, and eggplant parm. The spinach roll appetizer was excellent. The only disappointment for me was that the zucchini was greasy. Otherwise, a nice little gem of a local italian restaurant. They have flat screen TVs (no volume) in the dining room, which I ignored, but not sure how this improves the dining experience

I order takeout a lot. I very very rarely write reviews but this warranted response.Takeout - Got a buffalo chicken salad that came with sauteed peppers, onions, and mushrooms. I did not request the sauteed veggies. Is that standard? I have ordered this salad at least a dozen times from the Ross location and it never comes with this.The salad was so wet that it was like soup and I had to hold the container over my sink to drain it. Literally.It was legit awful lol.The lettuce was soggy. From the unneeded veggies or overuse of buffalo sauce? I dont know. It was basically Inedible. Even if I had asked for the veggies or extra buffalo sauce (which I did not), it would still be a soupy mess.The peperoni roll was good. So was the girl who took the order.

I have ordered pasta dinners with meat sauce from this Monte Cello's location 3 times within the last 10 days. Staff taking the order have always been pleasant. Delivery has always been less than the quoted time. Hot foods have always been hot, cold foods cold. I highly recommend the Shaler Monte Cello's.
