Monteverdes catered my wedding on 11/25/2023. The food was absolutely PHENOMENAL. I am still getting texts raving about the food, particularly the custom Ravioli Bar (so good). Kelly was so great in helping us nail down our menu, flexible with changes and so accommodating for our guests with dietary restrictions. She also made sure Ryan and I ate on our day, serving us specifically (just the absolute best). Additionally, the waitstaff at the wedding was incredible. I kept hearing all night about how wonderful the waitstaff was and they TRULY WERE WONDERFUL! They styled a beautiful cookie table, making sure my husband and I had a big box of cookies to take home knowing we'd have a busy night, they packed a meal for each of us to have at home, they brought in some toys for my nephews to play with (what a hit and were so sweet with the little ones period), and just generally, so helpful and made sure our night was as seamless and as perfect as possible. I could go on and on, but thank you, and I'm going to have to make up events just to use Monteverdes again!

The servers were wearing leggings in the wedding ?!?!? And they were very eager to take your plates when you weren't done... And the food was cold, and the food didn't come out all together. What the hekkkk

This Reunion, their help with planning our event over three years and 5 different dates due to Covid challenges was very supportive. On the day of our event, the delivery was right on time, the food and its presentation made a beautiful banquet, and the additional supplies needed were included! Our Reunion was fun and delicious with our most grateful appreciation to Monteverde's for making our event the best!!!

We hired Monteverde's last month to bartend our wedding in Downtown Pittsburgh. They provided everything for the bar except the alcohol and were excellent throughout the evening. Multiple guests commented on how great they were and we are very happy with the service they provided for our event.They were excited to be a part of the day and even helped out with the bridal dance, always smiling and making sure our guests were attended to. We would recommend Monteverde's to any couple looking for bartenders on their special day.

Kelly was so easy to work with - from our first tasting to other planning meetings to our actual wedding day. Kelly was flexible, accommodating various changes to the menu and guest list as we prepared for our day. She was communicative, and promptly sent updated estimates throughout the planning process. We and our guests loved the food. Kelly’s staff were incredibly professional, and efficiently moved all our guests through the buffet line. Kelly’s staff beautifully plated our cookie table, and packed up the leftovers for us to take home. We would wholeheartedly recommend Monteverde Catering to any couple looking for a wedding caterer in the Western Pennsylvania area.

DONT LISTEN TO ANY BAD REVIEWS! This is by far the best caterer I have ever witnessed. Kelly I believe her name is, has done my aunts wedding, my brothers, and now mine this past Saturday! We were suppose to have an outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception, but it was such bad weather so we had to move inside last minute. The chairs we rented we were going to make into an aisle in the reception room, but Kelly took it into her own hands to set up the whole room herself, and even grabbed our decor in a bag for the chairs and set it up. Didn’t have to do anything but show up. She’s not just a caterer, she’s practically a wedding coordinator if you don’t have one. She’s the best, most sweetest woman! She listens to what you want and is so giving. We were even suppose to have an ice machine at the reception but were told that they didn’t have one anymore, so she brought the ice for us and we didn’t have to pay for it. As well as offering to buy us sparkling juice, but we got it ourselves. If you want bomb food, and someone who actually loves weddings, choose Monteverde. You won’t regret it!
What started out as a very pleasant business relationship turned in to an ugly mess. I wish I could leave a 5 star review. No one wants bad service in any way for their child’s wedding. They tell you one thing and they do another. And then try to discuss it with them and you get spoken over and corrected and basically called a liar even when there are multiple guests telling me the same things. The communication is poor. This was the biggest let down and the saddest part about the whole experience is I was told by many guests how good the food was. Well it doesn’t matter how good the food is when the whole arrangement wasn’t followed. ???? PS if a cookie table is important to you, run the other direction.

This is a leading up to the wedding review - I will absolutely update this after our wedding, which I have no doubt will be a 6 out of 5 star review.I cannot recommend Kelly and Monteverde's enough. Kelly took the time to meet us at our venue, make suggestions on how we could make a seated meal work (even without a fully functioning kitchen on-site), and she basically has a hand in each and every part of our wedding - either she and her staff are helping with it or she has had a great suggestion. She's even helping me with a champagne tower. At the tasting, each part of the meal was fantastic, I can't wait to (hopefully have the time) to eat it on the day of. Kelly has been gracious with her time and energy, we went through a zillion different china patterns together to find the perfect matching yet mismatched assortment to fit the garden party vibe. She completely gets the vision and I am so confident in handing all of my ideas over to her. Seriously, save yourself so much hassle and just work with this team. They've been in the Pittsburgh area forever and there's obvious reason for that.

The food is incredible: excellent family recipes that are delicious! All of my guests raved about everything from the appetizers to the main course. They managed guests special dietary needs, helped us with the traditional Pittsburgh cookie table, and their people were outstanding. I can not recommend them enough!
