The lights are on, but nobody's home. Literally. Looks kind of derelict on the outside, and even more so on the inside. Door was unlocked, open sign was on, but inside looked like the place was abandoned. Total bare walls, a few cans of things sitting on the counter, a few few booths in the back. The only person in the place was sitting on a bench in the back behind a wall. I don't know if she was working there, or was a squatter.

Wanted a place that I could take my vegetarian wife for a sandwich. Reviews were great and they were not misleading. It was a little bit on the expensive side but as others have said well worth it.

I’ve ordered quite a bit over the past month, and I wanted to take the time to thank you for the amazing food you make.

My daughter was born at 28 weeks and has been in the NICU ever since, and having some great food from y’all has helped give me at least one thing to look forward to during this very difficult time for my family. It’s reminded me as a fellow restaurant worker myself, that we can truly make a difference in what we do.

Thank you once again, and I wish all of you success now and in the future!

Anybody looking for great vegan food in the city, it doesn’t get better than this!

This is a pretty solid vegan spot, but you can definitely tell that the food is vegan if you are a meat eater. It just doesn’t have quite a similar flavor and it’s not as satisfying, with most of the food having some artificial flavor to it. I got to try their breakfast sandwich (“no egg” bagel), ranch, and peaches n cream egg roll.

The egg just tasted strange. It was somewhat greasy and very artificial. The bagel itself was fine but just very standard. An okay price for the portion. The ranch it was served with was also watery and just didn’t hit the spot. I will say though, I added a hashbrown and the hashbrown was very good.

The egg roll was a bit better, but still had some artificial flavor to it. Portion was fine and the peaches tasted reasonably fresh for something like this. Not bad.

All in all, it’s an okay spot. The food looked better on the photos. The presentation is almost always good but the flavor is not so much.

Me and my friend went here to see if they served smoothies. We waited for someone to come out for like 5 mins and no one was by the front for awhile. So my friend walked up by the window where the kitchen is to ask the server if they sale smoothies and the server said no. But while my friend was asking a question he walked up like on the steps by the kitchen so he can hear the server speak, but then a cook or owner came out and rudely yelled at my friend and told him to walk down the steps and don't come up here again. My friend apologized and said he was just asking the server a question. The cook was like I dont care don't walk up here and I'm like my friend didn't know but it's just the rudeness and the lack of hospitality that made me not want to ever eat here. I don't care if the food is good or not if you're speaking rudely to your customers especially for no reason, it makes people not wanna come here. I will make sure other people will know how unprofessional they are. I'm quite sure they wouldn't wanna come here either.

I love the dirty rice! Don’t get me started on the sauces! I will be back! The customer service is amazing and the restaurant is decorated nicely.

Fire Cheesesteak egg rolls. If you've ever had Korean egg rolls at Seoul in Carnegie, these are the next step up especially with the gold bbq dipping sauce. And that Mac is def on point! Fire!

This was the best in-house vegan meat we have ever had. My husband and son got the fried chicken sandwiches- the crunch was so good and texture was perfect. I am gluten free so I got the cheese steak egg roll. I did a double take after that first bite, it tastes so much like ground beef, I was mindblown. And they saved the best for last- the strawberry cheesecake eggroll is AMAZING. We will be back for sure! Whether you’re vegan or not, this food is made with love and so delicious.

I was really excited to try another vegan spot in Pittsburgh, especially one serving fried mushroom, which is my favorite. I had a breakfast sandwich and my friend got the chick'n sandwich, both using fried blue oyster mushroom. And it looked really good as well

But I'm really disappointed to say it was near inedible. I do understand fried food is going to be a bit greasy, in fact, I'm counting on it. But multiple bites of both dishes were nothing but breading that was so saturated with grease, it dripped out as we bit down. The breakfast sandwich was also heavily, heavily oversalted, I'm working off a headache from eating just half of it, and there was a really odd aftertaste to the bagel, almost soapy?

I hope to give this place another chance, maybe try something not mushroom based, but I spent nearly $40 and we ended up just feeling quite ill from trying to eat our meals to justify the price. Based on the other reviews I'm hoping my experience was a fluke but man, that was just extremely bad

It was the first time I ate vegan. My grand daughter took us there. Didn’t know what to order, because I’m a very picky eater. I ordered the steak sandwich, that was one of the best sandwiches I ever had. Great job guys.

Where to start...The Hot Hunny Chkn Sandwich was so salty and greasy it was nearly inedible. The Oyster mushrooms were not prepared properly leaving the fibrous base on the mushroom to compose the majority of the sandwich. Unfortunately, this $15,00 sandwich was tossed in the trash. The V po-boy was better, put it was also way too salty. The Fries and Macaroni salad were decent.

I'd read some reviews before walking to Moodz. Not sure if they got it right. Reviews said five star and that's fair but, after checking it out I gotta say 10⭐.

This place understands the assignment. They do the assignment, plus add in extra credit and turns it in early.

The cheese steak was incredible. Had a fresh homemade taste and the little smoke in the spot let me know they were cookin'. Yet still professional.

Then they gave me a cookie on the way out. I walked about a mile to get there and it was worth every step. 🔥
