Got the cheesesteak and loaded buffalo chicken fries delivered to me while at a brewery on the Southside. Each entree was HUUUUUGE—at least two servings of leftovers for each, so a really good bargain ultimately! Updated from previous review on 2026-02-24
I ordered the oyster mushroom sandwich, it was very DELICIOUS!! The texture and the seasoning is to die for !!!! I will be returning again the money is worth it!!!

I picked up Thanksgiving from here and let me tell you, this place is delicious. On top of that, the people are kind and the energy was good. The chicken and fish were crisp and delicious. The greens were excellent. Loved everything and looking forward to going back, especially to bring my vegetarian Dad!!
This place is a plant based oasis in a sea of a rich meat based culture. They offer a wide variety of transitional plant based options that are inspired by familiar comfort foods rooted in soul food favor and culture. Do yourself a favor and tap in.

I LOVE this place. The food is so good every time - so good actually that my non-vegan friends think it's just as delicious! I'm finally writing a review, as I got the full pan of the catered mac 'n' cheese and banana pudding for a recent party and they were the hits of the night. My plant-based/dairy allergic friends and family were so grateful and the full-dairy crowd loved it just as much (and most had no idea!). Moodz catering is going to be a staple at all our events! <3

I knew I would have some difficulties with figuring out what to order as I have a gluten intolerance however an employee helped me out. I believe I ordered the breakfast bagel without the bagel and I got two dessert egg rolls (peach cobbler and apple pie). I was obviously disappointed that nearly everything contained gluten and they didn't have a gluten free batter, but perhaps they might consider it. The egg rolls were alright, they were extremely sweet in my opinion and the breakfast bagel without the bagel was just a sad meal. In the end I think I paid way too much for such a small amount of food that wasn't very satisfying.

The lights are on, but nobody's home. Literally. Looks kind of derelict on the outside, and even more so on the inside. Door was unlocked, open sign was on, but inside looked like the place was abandoned. Total bare walls, a few cans of things sitting on the counter, a few few booths in the back. The only person in the place was sitting on a bench in the back behind a wall. I don't know if she was working there, or was a squatter.

Wanted a place that I could take my vegetarian wife for a sandwich. Reviews were great and they were not misleading. It was a little bit on the expensive side but as others have said well worth it.

I’ve ordered quite a bit over the past month, and I wanted to take the time to thank you for the amazing food you make.
My daughter was born at 28 weeks and has been in the NICU ever since, and having some great food from y’all has helped give me at least one thing to look forward to during this very difficult time for my family. It’s reminded me as a fellow restaurant worker myself, that we can truly make a difference in what we do.
Thank you once again, and I wish all of you success now and in the future!
Anybody looking for great vegan food in the city, it doesn’t get better than this!

This is a pretty solid vegan spot, but you can definitely tell that the food is vegan if you are a meat eater. It just doesn’t have quite a similar flavor and it’s not as satisfying, with most of the food having some artificial flavor to it. I got to try their breakfast sandwich (“no egg” bagel), ranch, and peaches n cream egg roll.
The egg just tasted strange. It was somewhat greasy and very artificial. The bagel itself was fine but just very standard. An okay price for the portion. The ranch it was served with was also watery and just didn’t hit the spot. I will say though, I added a hashbrown and the hashbrown was very good.
The egg roll was a bit better, but still had some artificial flavor to it. Portion was fine and the peaches tasted reasonably fresh for something like this. Not bad.
All in all, it’s an okay spot. The food looked better on the photos. The presentation is almost always good but the flavor is not so much.

Me and my friend went here to see if they served smoothies. We waited for someone to come out for like 5 mins and no one was by the front for awhile. So my friend walked up by the window where the kitchen is to ask the server if they sale smoothies and the server said no. But while my friend was asking a question he walked up like on the steps by the kitchen so he can hear the server speak, but then a cook or owner came out and rudely yelled at my friend and told him to walk down the steps and don't come up here again. My friend apologized and said he was just asking the server a question. The cook was like I dont care don't walk up here and I'm like my friend didn't know but it's just the rudeness and the lack of hospitality that made me not want to ever eat here. I don't care if the food is good or not if you're speaking rudely to your customers especially for no reason, it makes people not wanna come here. I will make sure other people will know how unprofessional they are. I'm quite sure they wouldn't wanna come here either.

Fire Cheesesteak egg rolls. If you've ever had Korean egg rolls at Seoul in Carnegie, these are the next step up especially with the gold bbq dipping sauce. And that Mac is def on point! Fire!
