We have been coming here for 6-7 yrs for various events (even did food pickup from them during Covid). Every dinner here has been wonderful and we look forward to coming back.

Incredible night at Morcilla in Lawrenceville! 🥂 We focused on snacks and small plates, and everything was absolutely delicious. Highlights included the Bacalao Rebozado (that green goddess sauce!!), melt-in-your-mouth Oxtail Montadito, fresh and delicate Scallop Crudo, flavorful Beef Tartare, and a rich Sunchoke and Crab Gratin to finish. Service was spot-on — attentive without ever feeling rushed. Can't wait to go back!

The service was excellent. The waitress was extremely friendly. It was hard to hear her due to the close quarters and loud conversations. The food was good ( not great). Everything was tasty perhaps some things were too seasoned. I think they are trying to overpower the food with flavor and it goes a little too far. Still good food but the “ richness” can make it beyond what you expect. I would go again for the shrimp, and service. Maybe put some ear plugs in.

I thought everything was excellent, but I had difficulty reading the menu because of the lighting in the restaurant and darkness of the menu. Besides that one issue, everything was really great.

My wife and I shared the Gambas en Escabeche, the Setas a la Plancha and the Aroz Con Pitu De Caleya. All were outstanding . We shared a carafe of the Verdejo on Draft with another split glass because it was so good. We sat at the only reserved bar seats which is a great vantage point, and the service is excellent

Every dish is well crafted, flavorful and perfectly balanced. We tried several dishes and you can tell each one was carefully created and perfected before being plated. The ribs were our favorite with flavor, pairings, and texture that words can't quite describe. All of the staff was attentive and in tune to making sure every table was cared for. Can't wait to go back.

One of the best restaurants I've been to in Pittsburgh. Period. I've had four transcendent food experiences in Pittsburgh - Apteka, Pusadees Garden, Dianioas - and now Morcilla. The oxtail starter and the ribs share plate are out of this world delicious. You'd be doing yourself a disservice to not buy the churros for dessert. You might even go back for seconds.

What a great evening we had. The restaurant was cozy, the food was amazing and the service top notch. I recommend getting several dishes and share them “family style”. Every bite was delicious. We will definitely be eating here more often.

Skip the chorizo and beef tartar. The chorizo is nothing special, and so thinly sliced that you can't taste it. The beef tartar is 30%beef, 70% filler.
The wines we had were excellent, and the cabbage dish was incredible!

This place is everything! Food, drinks, ambience make it a necessary stop on your foodie list. We got several dishes and shared all of them. Faves were the oxtail, roasted cabbage, and spare ribs. I wanted to order the whole menu. Service is impeccable.

I absolutely looooooooove randomly coming in here when I can ! The food !, the people ?, the smells and the music is always on point !!! Everything is nice ! , sometimes the atmosphere and food feel like home...
Then sometimes it feels like I'm way to broke to be sitting there and for that I'm wasting the time of the service and other guest oddly .
But regardless, I love trying the drinks and food and you should definitely try !
