I originally posted this review a few months ago, with the only negative for me is they switched to Coke from Pepsi. Since then, changes have been made that are bringing down the quality of the place, especially steering away from Irish music, there is less and less of it. More musicians who perform there play none. The Harp & Fiddle was voted best Irish pub in Pennsylvania multiple times, and for good reason. Take away the Irish music, as well as other Irish traditions such as Finnegan's Wake, and it is just another bar. The changes made to the stage are horrid. It was once an intimate place for music, not it is flat black with huge TVs.

Was looking for a place to grab a quick drink and bite to eat in the Strip District that was dog friendly and I sure found a gem. Delicious pub food with an obligatory Guinness. My bartender/server was super friendly and checked on me often when I was alone out back. I only briefly saw the inside and it looked like a great local pub.

Nice place with live music but my drink was very expensive and wasn't even a specialty cocktail

Food was very good, for bar food. I loved the Irish atmosphere. Glad to know Pittsburgh has a good Irish pub. BTW, our server, Teena, was very good. I had the Shepard's Pie. Loved the fact that not everything was deep fried.

I was in town for a conference and wanted some quality food and drink from an independent spot without all the nonsense. I couldn't have been more happy with my pick. Worth the walk from the other side of town. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Got the fish and chips, some of the best I've had 👌.

We had so much fun here on St. Paddy's Day. 2 bands going, tent set up outside. Great anymore! It was so busy by the time we arrived though you couldn't even get into the inside bar area so we didn't even attempt to eat. But we had a great time.

Went to Finnegan's Wake, the live music was good, the food was very good, and the party was lively. If you go, get there early or you won't have any place to sit.

Authentic Irish Pub right here in the Burgh. Clean, friendly staff, good food and beer, and great music. With a lot right next door, parking is easy. A must stop on St. Patty’s ☘️ Lovely day for a Guinness!

If you want an authentic Irish experience, this is the place. Great service. Great music. And, of course, best pour of Guinness in the city. Don’t sleep on the Harp!

Horrific experience. The bouncer grabbed my friend and dragged her out after our group was attacked by someone else. Our group's waitress even tried to defend us against the woman that assaulted us and poured beer all over us and grabbed our friend by the throat. Will never step foot in this trashy venue again, you can reap what you sow.

Great place for Irish food, grog, and music. Not great on St. Paddy's Day...too many rookies

A really bad meal…cold, tasteless. I was really surprised as I’ve only heard good things.

A fun little Irish bar in the strip. I stopped in this week to grab dinner and I tried their shepherds pie. It has a little different twist on it, I'm used to it not having melted cheese on it, but was very sparingly used and had these crispy onion bits on it too. I loved it, highly recommend!
