Now here was a fun surprise from the street you walk into a small bar area typical for Pittsburgh and not much of a surprise, but when you walk in the back the place opens way up into a giant pool room with multiple pool tables and dart machines.
This place is a hidden gem! It only gets 4 stars because the liquor selection is limited. There is tons of space, the people are of yinzer quality, and the prices are affordable. I wouldn't hesitate at all to go back to Murphys to play pool or darts and watch a game.
Nice dark and friendly "Corner type Tavern". It looks small when you arrive but 25 steps in the place opens up into a very large open game parlor. 4-5 pool tables and several boar bristle and electronic dart boards. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great atmosphere. Nice for a few after work and decent traffic even later in the evening.
