The food is always delicious, that is not the reason I am writing this review. I never do this but i feel as if its necessary because its going to hurt their business. This is now the second time we have had an issue with the man who delivered our food. (Older Caucasian male). When i went to our lobby to collect the food I did not see him, I decided to wait outside because i thought maybe he hadn't arrived yet. After about 5 minutes we called the number back to see if maybe he was at a different entrance. He told my coworker that "he had been here the whole time and saw me just standing there on my phone". So clearly he saw me waiting there and just didnt come up to me to see if i was the person waiting for him. He walked outside and went back to his car and looked at me. I then realized maybe this is the man from new dumpling house. We walk towards each other and he rudly goes "i've been inside the whole time waiting for you". I apoligize that we mustve missed eachother and that I walked outside because i did not see him inside. I did not get an apology or response back. Instead, I got a rude comment about the tip i gave him and how it was "not enough" for what the price of the order was. I wanted to take the cash back because clearly, he did not appreciate what was given to him (which i did not even HAVE to tip him after all that) to bring the one bag of food to us. You really need to reconsider having this man deliver for you because its giving your company a bad name. I now will be ordering through doordash instead of directly with the company because i do not want to deal with this delivery person ever again.

I came here to try the peking duck and I have got to say it was one of the best I have had in the area so far. I got the full duck, skin and meat (I have been to some places that only give you part of a duck and hardly any skin) not only that but I got plenty of pancakes, green onion, cucumber, and hoisin. There was easily enough for 4 meals, since I was eating alone. It only took about 30 minutes for them to prepare the duck which is pretty good and average for this kind of meal. The service was great, I am sad I wasn't able to dine in but I definitely understand.Next time I am in the area I am definitely returning not only to get the peking duck but to try more of the meal. I am throughly impressed with this restaurant and can't wait to return.

Ever since they decided to update the interior and fire all wait staff, it’s just not as good. Why spend all that money to update your dining room to only do take out? I used to love this place and would easily give it 5 stars but this business decision is stupid and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. How could they do this to the people that worked there and the customers that enjoyed dining in?

NO STARS! Completely disgusting. I ordered 2 sushi rolls and an egg roll for delivery. The sushi rolls were very small and so was the shrimp egg roll. They charged $2 per sauce for a little 1oz cup that they don’t even fill all the way up! and theyDon’t have yum sauce either! TOTAL WASTE OF $30!!!! I just threw it in the garbage where it belongs. Oh and their delivery guy RUDELY asked for a tip, a tip is offered NOT required. You must have mental issues to think someone is going to offer u a tip asking for it first of all, and then with an attitude. HORRIBLE !!!!

I have been eating at New Dumpling & Sushi House for at least 15 years. I noticed a decline in the food during COVID but understood under the circumstance. I continued to order even after they continued with take-out only. The last two times I ordered dinner for my family, I got food poisoning. Both times I had General Tsaos shrimp and I was the only one who had that The first time I didn't call and complain. This last time, I felt I needed to call so they were aware. I called the next day and was told unless I went to hospital and could prove it was their fault, there was nothing they would do. Very disappointed in their response.

Best chicken fried rice anywhere. Can’t go wrong with the amazing chicken. Been coming here 20+ years. Very rarely do they disappoint.

We took chicken dumplings and maki from there. First, there is no eat-in possibility for the moment may be because of renovations. I am not sure about it. Dumplings were not good, it was too thick the outer parts of the dumplings. Seasoning was not the best. Maki was ordinary.

As an American when I traveled and worked in other countries I was always respectful to the locals there, these guys working here are extremely rude and they don't even look you in the eye. They have a terrible attitude not to mention these guys are from China but they are selling low quality Japanese food? What a dishonor. When Rome do as the Romans do and these guys have zero respect for the community of Pittsburgh, a community where people are friendly and support and always treat customers like family these guys here are Bad bad go to a different Chinese restaurant. I'm going to call the city of Pittsburgh because we can't have people coming to this community with such a disgusting attitude treating the locals here like trash, we must protect this community.

The food here is terrible. Save yourself money and time. The lo mein was ok. Both soups, miso and hot and sour were disgusting. They had a weird smell to them, too. Generals tsos, terrible. I normally wouldn't leave such a bad review, even if service wasn't to my liking, but this place shouldn't be serving food. Fried rice was dry and flavorless. I'm sure that all food is reheated as it took 5 minutes to prepare two main dishes and a few sides. One bite on the egg roll and it had to go in the trash to. The guy at the front desk was courteous and respectful. You would think on Murray Ave, they would at least try here. Never again, not even if it was free.
