This is by far the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. The food is below average, and the tom yum soup was so salty it was nearly undrinkable. When I pointed it out, the server simply said, “the soup is always like that.” That kind of response feels dismissive and disrespectful to customers.

On top of that, the restaurant automatically adds a 20% tip regardless of the service quality. I always respect hardworking servers and normally tip 18–20% when the service is good, but forcing this charge with such poor service is unacceptable. Please don’t insult your customers this way.

Our favorite Thai spot in the city! Between my girlfriend and I, we have never had a dish we didn’t love. Their food tastes fresh and is ways delivered in a timely manner. The staff is polite and works hard to make sure their guests have a great experience. Finally, they have a lovely outdoor patio area which we thoroughly enjoy in the summer, although indoor dining is also a great experience. Highly recommend!

If you love Thai food you’ll love Nicky’s kitchen! Beautiful outdoor seating area, and we had a great choice of foods to select from.
It’s BYOB with a fee to open a bottle or can. When my food arrived. It was delicious and just not too spicy. You choose the spiciness by number. I found the outdoor atmosphere inviting that we stayed for two hours. I believe there are three and we visited one in North side. Try it!

The food was good but the staff seemed annoyed and like they didn't want to be there. They didn't smile at all. It made me feel a little awkward, but maybe they were just having a bad day.

The food was delicious! I went for lunch and had Pas Thai with chicken. The entree comes with soup or salad. I got the salad with pineapple. It was fresh and cold. The Pad Thai was scrumptious and a generous portion. I had a Thai iced tea and it was decent - not the best I've ever had. Service was fast and friendly. A 20% gratituity was included in the bill.

The room is loud, with tables pretty close together, and it was a little warm inside. You can hear everyone's conversations. Other than that, it was fine. The bathroom was modern and clean.

Our favourite Thai spot in Pittsburgh (even though the prices are a little steep for what you get) My partner and I come here at least once every other month. The Vegetable 4 You is 10/10. Only critique, I wish they served an even number of each appetizer because it's hard to decide who gets the third hahaha.

Also another plus: the staff alerts you that they add on gratuity, which I love because it's easy to forget / get confused

I went to a conference in Pittsburgh and ate at Nicky’s TWICE. I went back during a recent vacation and it is the best Thai food I’ve had. I’ve has the spicy eggplant and pad Thai.

The food was not edible and the waitress was rude, apathetic, and not able to communicate properly. I never had such a terrible experience eating out. The Manager was kind and did not charge for the food and apologized for the poor service.

We stopped here for lunch and the food was delicious, came out quickly, and the patio area was really nice.

Add on tip. Add on corkage fee. Ground chicken and called it grilled chicken. You can do better. Did I mention the cat smell. Disgusting

The food was excellent. However, adding a 20% service charge regardless of table size is disrespectful to customers. And every table has a placard stating that they charge 25 cents for a paper bag. This is really tacky. I would question the management of this facility.

Always fantastic food! We ate outside and the outdoor area was beautiful, surrounded by tropical plants. It felt like you were dining in paradise.
