North Shore Tavern Reviews
My wife and I recently moved to Pittsburgh and had been here before and had a wonderful lunch. Today we decided to expand our experience during Restaurant week and get something besides just a burger type lunch. We are both individuals that are easily satisfied but quite picky and thus hard to impress. Well we were both very impressed with every level of service, presentation, and food quality. Love the cooking on stone concept and results are amazing. Every portion of the...read full review
while i LOVE this place. I will tell you we had some of the worst service I have ever had in my life. we come here often and today we had a reservation at 3:15 and our server was awful. we sat for 20 mins before even being greeted and only after complaining. he never apologized and still never gave us his full attention. he waited a table immediately when they sat down and we had been her for 15 mins at that time and he had never waited on us at that point.
Awesome atmosphere great food and great service. We will definitely be back. ⭐️ 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

The North Shore Tavern offers a unique dining experience with tasty food, including an 8 oz filet and a huge, amazing salad. The restaurant features a friendly and accommodating staff, with attentive waiters who are super sweet. Some dishes are served on a hot lava stone for guests to cook their food to their preference. The atmosphere is enhanced by Pirates memorabilia, with divey sports bar vibes, multiple TVs showing baseball games, and framed jerseys on the walls. This place is lively and great for drinks with friends, especially with its large outside dining area opposite the Pirates stadium. The fried buffalo chicken sandwich with apple slaw and pineapple mayo is next level, paired with some of the best sweet potato waffle fries. The seafood, including great scallops, is also fantastic. The left field lemonade remains a popular mixed drink, and there are two very different ciders to choose from. The prices are reasonable, making it a wonderful place for a casual meal in a prime location. Service is generally great even when busy, though some guests have experienced slow or inattentive service at times.
