Really good food (aside from my $18 sandwich totally being on a giant eagle bun lol) really really really bad service. From one bartender to another maybe acknowledge your guests and get off your phones.

Pulled pork nachos were excellent!! Wife had a hamburger and it was dry, hard and tasteless. I had the meatloaf and was unimpressed for the quality of the description. Also fairly dry. Only reason to return is for the

Nothing was bad. Nothing super impressive. Nothing to complain about, but (in my opinion) nothing to write home about.Parking: I'm pretty sure the street parking is free after 8 pm, but limited unless you want a fairly long walk

Really fun experience with friends. Food was great quality overall, portions are decent. Little on the pricey side, but to be expected. Definitely a good date-night venue or an evening with a group of friends.

Paying homage to the steel workers who would (allegedly) bring a steak to work for lunch, slap it onto a cooling steel bar to sear it, and then flip it and repeat before eating, North Shore Tavern lives up to this age old tradition and modernizes it.A lightly (and deliciously) seasoned chunk of meat is brought out on a STEAMING hot stone. The aroma is amazing from the start. Grab your fork and knife, and then cut the meat into slices to finish up to your desired doneness.I opted for the lamb, and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a LONG time. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked exactly how I liked it, since I was the one finishing. Top it off with their chimichurri and it was literally worth writing home about ( I called my fiancée on the walk back to the hotel).Without a doubt a gem of Pittsburgh

First time visiting the restaurant. Nothing exciting but a nice place to try since it was a unique way to have your food cooked and served. Staff was nice but weren't that friendly. The cost doesn't justify the amount of food you get,

It was our first time and we were very much looking forward to having dinner at North shore Tavern. We took our oldest daughter to dinner and everything was amazing from the Maryland crab dip appetizer to the filet and scallops on the stone to the crème Brûlée for dessert...delicious we can't wait to go back again. Definitely a 10/10

Great food; especially the steak and really enjoyed cooking the steak on a stone. It was really a unique dining experience that I would recommend to others. I do feel like the tables and chairs could be more comfortable and the stones could be bigger.

Atmosphere was nice. Menu isn't huge. Big Beer and liquor selection. App was rich and creamy. "Steak on a stone" is a great attraction. Not an everyday thing but family enjoyed it! Service was outstanding . Cheesecake was excellent. Only downfall is the smoke from all the stones makes the air in the restaurant stuffy but I think the summer time it's not an issue. Recommend this place for a date night.

The food was delicious and the chimichurri sauce is addicting. The steak was soooo goood! The steak comes in a large chunk. Quick service and delicious drinks. Going back.Parking: In the city. What else can I say.

Fine spot for a bit of food. Salads & soup are winners, but filet on a stone is terrific!

This tavern was great. It’s not every day you meet someone with your name that spells it the exact same way you do. Kasey here was beyond what I could have asked for. She asked me what I wanted and I told her to just hit me with something. She made me this grapefruit concoction with gin and it was so dang good. If you get the chance to go here ask her to make this drink. It was delicious and definitely still packed a punch. Great place and great people.
