Nox's is worth making it ur destination place!! We had to go to Penn Hills today so I used Google maps to find a good restaurant in the area in or near Penn Hills. Nox's was one of them. I always read the reviews & they were very positive...& rightly so. From the minute we stepped in the door Julie came to greet us...& then much to our delight waited on us. She was very helpful & friendly. She encouraged us to try the Steamers...they were beyond description! The meat was piled a mile high & melted in our mouth...especially topped with their special sauce! And the fries were what we used to call steak fries. They r my favorite & since my steak days r over I have not been able to find them...til today! They were perfectly done to a golden brown & as good as any I ever had with a steak! We live about 1-1/2 hrs. away & will be making it our special go-to place. It is worth the trip! U won't be disappointed. Make this ur new go-to place!!

Great hostesses who hustled indoors And outside. Boneless wing salads were great. Everyone got their own flavor of wings. Good beer selection too.

When we visit home, my brother in law always finds us a local place to get a fish sandwich and this place didn't disappoint! The cod was coated in a potato crust that was crunchy good and not greasy! The place is small with a happy atmosphere. The bartender Jessica was awesome with a great fresh strawberry margarita! Even my 91 year old Mom (who never drinks) enjoyed it. Definitely worth a visit again!

Came here on an Instagram recommendation from BigMikeEats. I don't know if I got these guys on a bad day or what, but I found this establishment to be overrated. The best part of our meal was the garlic butter provolone sticks, which were delicious and thiQ with a capital Q. Wings weren't anything special at all, some of ours were room temp, and the sauces were bad to mid with the exception of the Blazin Blawnox, which was very tasty.
I ordered their award winning butter mesquite sauce, which my wife and I agreed had to be the worst wing sauce we've ever tasted. I do not say that lightly. I don't know who those judges were or what they were smoking, but that wasn't it. I also got Kitchen Sink (meh) and Steph's Secret Sauce, which ended up just being a form of honey mustard.
My wife got the burger of the month and it was drier than all get out. The service was also poor, as we sat on the patio and I had to go inside twice to flag down our waitress/bartender.
Seasonal beer was good, and as I said the provolone sticks smacked, but I don't know if we'll be back.

We went here for the first time and the food and service were awesome. The everything but the kitchen sink sauce is literally the best wing sauce I ever had. Idk what kind of bun is on that steamer burger but it was the best bun I’ve ever had. We’ll be back!

The Steamed burger was phenomenal. Definitely worth me taking a chance on. My daughter had the Philly Cheesesteak and said the same. Excellent service and Cold Beer
