I ordered my shawarma with all the toppings. I got chicken and what I think we're pickle strips. No sauces, no lettuce/cabbage, no cheese, no tomatoes, no cucumbers, no peppers. The only explanation I can think of is that there may have been a language barrier issue. I usually get shawarma from Reading terminal market in Philly, and if those are the metric by which others are measured, then this one was a distant 2nd. It was still very tasty, and definitely worth it, but...

I got the reply from the owner, they are really polite and I thanks a lot to them. I was a little too mad yesterday. Normally, the shawarma here tastes awesome. I recommended the beef one.

I ordered at least 10+ times here, never had a problem. Today, a staff gave me a shawarma with horrible meat!! Hard as rock and burned, tastes like bones and sand.

Omar’s Halal Grill is a decent place if you’re looking for a quick halal meal, but overall my experience was just okay. The menu has a good variety, and the portion sizes are generous, which is definitely a plus.
