Superb food and coffee! I’m amazed they can offer such high quality food at such a reasonable price. The atmosphere is busy, but very relaxed. Great vibe, and you can hear each other talk.

The best coffee in town. Highly recommend it. A good place to meet for a chat as well.
I wish they had more vegan food options, other than vegan blueberry muffins (they are good btw).
Works as a bar in the evenings. Has an excellent atmosphere
Vegetarian options: Some good vegan options. Wish for more
Parking: Cheap street parking if you are staying for less than an hour

This is my neighborhood coffee shop. The staff and the owners are really friendly. The coffee and all the drinks are great here. Brunch is a great option on weekends.

Things you should know:
I. PARKING
There are various options. Street parking, public parking lots and a nearby public parking garage. All easily accessible ~ the only hold-up is that they're paid parking spots, costing about $1/hr. Not bad.
II. SERVICE
Timely and really patient at taking my crazy beverage orders. They offer sugar free syrups for my friends who like guilt-free options for their drinks.
III. QUALITY
I'm a snob about my coffee, but their cold brew passes the test. My grandmother, who cannot have caffeine anymore, really enjoys their decaf lattes.
The atmosphere is inviting and well designed. It's a great place to camp out at and knock out some work/studying.
IV. Fair amount of available seating during weekday late-morning. Seems to be a good time to camp out.

Best coffee shop in the South Hills area, and top 5 of any cafe I've been to. Awesome staff, world class coffee. Been going here for longer than a decade and never once have been disappointed.

I’ve been a customer here for 10 years and always thought it was a great place to study and their drinks are good. Recently, the staff have been extremely short, rude, and unwelcoming to both me and my boyfriend when he picks me up a coffee. It has happened several times, and one time the guy actually noticed that their tone was mean and upset me so he tried to change his act and be nice. Not cool. I’m a cheerful and kind person and interacting with these workers always wipes the smile right off my face. I hope they do better.

The staff is kind, but the food and coffee were terrible :/ I tried several items and didn't like any of them.

My wife and I got to this cafe at 10:30 with the intention to do work. Got coffees and some food. After 2 and a half hours was told we have to now spend money if we want to stay there. After we left my wife had left review and we got quite the unprofessional response. First off the owner explains this was there busy time. I do my best to see if we are a bother and I can tell you there were multiple empty tables the ENTIRE time we were there so we were not hurting business in that way. The response also stated “there’s a reason why some shops are eliminating WiFi access during peak hours”. I have not been at a cafe yet (and I’ve been to a lot) that have not had a WiFi. I’d like to know what other places have canceled their WiFi during peak hours? Also, they explain this is an “informal policy” in the response ?. So that basically explains this policy is dependent on the staffs mood for the day? The reason I state this is cause we have been there a dozen times, have stayed way longer than 2.5 hours and have never been bothered (read a couple other bad reviews for same reason and you’ll find out we weren’t alone). If this is a policy (whether informal or not), then you should put a sign up. But Mr and/or Mrs. Owner you will not, want to know why? Cause if you put a sign up like that, you know how bad that would look in the public eye! And it would be quite unsightly.

Restaurantji Recommends
Came in with my husband and ordered a latte, Americano, bagel, and muffin and planned to stay for a few hours to do some work together. Was asked by an employee to order something else or leave because we were “using the Internet too long.” Had only been there two hours and there were plenty of open tables. Beyond weird experience for a coffee shop.
Always great drinks, food and service. Highly recommend :)
