Service was nice and ambiance was cute but wow was the food terrible.
We kept being told that the meat (for basically everything) is supposed to taste âcharredâ because of the grill however it tasted like charred plastic doused in engine oil! We tried the salad which tasted like straight up vinegar. Then the mussels came which were the only normal thing on the menu (as they were in a shell and safe from the grill) In terms of drinks - the espresso martini was sugar syrup but they were kind enough to replace it with just straight alcohol.
I felt bad for the waitress as she was kind and we just felt incredibly awkward. It was just inedible even if we tried to move on.

Have all the ingredients to be the best spot in Lawrenceville, but fighting against being successful. Amazing views and food, but doesn't do much good when the servers cannot bring your order to you and take forever to acknowledge our table and take our order. We ordered 3 drinks but only got 1. I try to celebrate and support this restaurant but they make it so hard.

If youâre the kind of person who enjoys no service - not slow service, no service - this is the place for you. If you like eating crudite and hummus without a side plate or even a napkin, youâll enjoy this place. If you prefer getting a paper towel from the bathroom instead of linens the restaurant usually provides, Over Eden will meet your expectations. Espresso Martini? Itâs great if you like a glass of sugar flavored coffeee. In fairness, espresso martini isnât the best drink, but it felt safe to order three but only get one. A quick pass of the service station showed no rollups, explaining the lack of flatware. Thought there were plenty of side plates, which we didnât get. We passed on actual dinner with all the hope of getting better service elsewhere. Donât do better. Youâre not capable. Close.

Best rooftop in pitt! Prices are proportional to the beauty. The real problem that prevent me from giving 5 stars is that the food looks not amazing and very small in portion. Very good for drinks and apero not great for dinner

This place was terrible. Order two drink from drink menu both were bitter both were undrinkable and returned. They were pour from a pre made bottle. They took them off my bill thanks, so I ordered two long island made fresh They were terrible also didn't drink those either, didn't return them just paid my $50 bill that include valet of two cars and left. Great place for atmosphere and the over look of the city but drinks were the worst ever.

We were really disappointed with our experience here. On the rooftop, several tables were left with dirty plates and drinks the entire time, which attracted swarms of bees right by us. It was bad enough that we had to move inside.
The bar service was also very slow, even though it wasnât very busy. It took a long time just to order drinks and fries. And when the food finally came, it felt way overpriced â $16 for fries is outrageous.
Between the rooftop cleanliness, the slow service, and the high prices, the experience was not worth it. Would not recommend.

Was there for a day party. Just thought they needed more bartenders. But I know they didnt think it would be that many people. Next time you know!!

I didnt get anything food, so I cannot comment on the quality, but I imagine its typical bar food.
The view from the deck is an immaculate overlook of the Pittsburgh skyline, especially at night.
The service is quick and friendly
This is an upscale establishment, so the drink selection is somewhat limited for alcohol.
Highly recommend for a special event.

Came with a large group & we were told we could be accommodated without reservations. We were able to all sit together but the service was not the best. I will say it was very busy on the outside and inside which could have been a factor but still not an excuse..we had to order all of our drinks and food at the bar. Half of our group didnât get to order anything because the kitchen was so backed up and stopped taking orders. Menu needs updated some items are incorrect & werenât mentioned when you ordered them. It is a nice place and good views but they really need more staff. Barely anyone at the bar to take orders and we were told only 2 people were working in the kitchen. Iâm not sure if itâs always like this during busier times but they really needed some help. The food I did receive was good, no complaints about that. The service again could have been better. Someone in our group had to go get us water & straws etc. I get itâs busy but there definitely needs to be more staff if your guests are the ones basically serving ourselves. They didnât seem prepared for the large crowd inside and out. Hopefully things get better because it really is a nice space.

The views were great! There were a lot of children running around screaming for a birthday party which took away from the experience, but might not be the usual and we just got unlucky with timing.
However, the food was sub-par at best. I had the steak frites and asked to cook the steak to medium rare. It wasnât even close and came out medium-well with a quarter inch gray band around. You can get a better steak at Texas Roadhouse.

Drinks were very good. Menu felt phoned in. It was not immediately clear that you order food at the bar. Except for the truffle fries, we thought the food was okay but lacked depth of flavor. Burger patties were pre-formed. Loud 2010's rock didn't suit the space. The view was lovely, but not enough to warrant going back.

Bartender was super rude and started throwing stuff at her coworker. She slammed by beer glass down and cracked the glass the entire way around. Crispy beer and a nice view but I could get that else where. Not motivated to return
