Walked in not knowing what to expect. Was greeted by very friendly ladies. One lady commented she loved my mohawk. Very patient waiting for us to decide on our order. Set me up with shrimp Ramen and brought out some of the spice so I could add my own so it wasn't too spicy. All meals came out at the same time, perfectly cooked and hot. Absolute wonderful taste and aroma. Highly recommend. Wonderful hidden gem of a restaurant.

The food was amazing! The shrimp ramen, chicken and shrimp Hibachi, and the chicken dupbap. The sticky rice and sauces each plate was cooked in were so good. The service was great. Friendly, fresh, and fast. Good prices and atmosphere.

I came across this restaurant while I was traveling from Ohio and it was surprisingly authentic Korean food. Kimchi tasted better than what I have in my house and Kimchi Tofu Jjigae was even better!! Hopefully I’ll have chance to visit again next time.

The kimchi smelled extremely bad reminiscent to a rancid fart. The owner lady had said she made it herself but the cabbage was soft and not crunchy at all. I was there before close and I saw them take a big nasty bucket into the women's bathroom for some reason. Extremely expensive the ramen was very salty. The california roll has a very big amount of cucumber in it I had to take the cucumber out because it was a big giant block of it. They charge for every little thing. I saw the lady yelling at a waitress as well very rudely! I'm extremely disappointed in the way she treats her staff. The woman was breathing down her neck the entire time. Seemed understaffed and the owner lady seemed very particular that she get the tip and not the waitress which i'm confused about because the price of the food was high you'd think the woman wouldn't be so stingy with the money but no she does not want her employees to make money I want to know what she's paying these people I can't imagine what she's paying a back of the house employee absolutely selfish people. Just over all very sad to see how the employees were treated will not be coming back I can't support a business that treats their workers like that. At least the tables were kept clean and nothing else but the kimchi stunk bad.

This is now one our top favorite restaurants. The service is incredible. The owner (I think she was the owner) and the waitress we had were so kind and patient with us and our children. The food is spectacular. It was flavorful, but not loaded with salt and oil! It’s so rare to find a restaurant where you leave feeling full and yet healthy! The ingredients they use are definitely fresh. We got some sushi as an appetizer, and for the mains we ordered m veggie ramen, shrimp ramen, veggie udon, and a delicious shrimp rice dish. We can’t wait to go back!

I love the new location! I have been eating at Oya since it opened in Mt. Lebo and the food has always been amazing. My favorites are the bulgogi dolsot, sundubu jigae, any of the ramen dishes and the new tteokbokki is great too! This is a home cooked meal at a restaruant. It doesn't get any better.

The food here was excellent. The bulgogi noodle dish tasted like I was visiting a friend, and they made me a family meal. The atmosphere is excellent and I can’t wait to go back to try the BBQ

Love this place. Fabulous food, wonderful owners and servers. Small, but bigger than it was. Particular favorites are the bentos, the spicy calamari dupbap, and the kimchi pancake.
[Update: sadly it appears Oya Sushi has ceased business. I hope James and Kim are doing well.]
We went there and the place is for lease and permanently closed.
