They are tasty but scared of black people . Weird vibe in the store but at least it doesn’t affect the flavor.

The frosting on everything was extremely bland! It leaves a film in mouth. The cheesecakes and cookies barely ok. Very disappointing! Feels like a waste of money. We didn’t finish anything we got. Cake mixes taste like out of box.
Everything was decorated pretty.

I was just there and bought half dozen thumb prints and one mini carrot cake, the customer service was standard, the mini carrot cake was decent, the thumb prints were beyond stale and just not edible….would return them but I live too far away…was in the area for an appointment

This place is awesome came in a clutch with no other place would do what they did price was reasonable next day pick up even with me going to pick it up and then having problems with their printer. She was so nice. Wanted to call me free donuts, and stuff for the mixup. I would recommend this place to anybody. I mean one of the best bakeries in Pittsburgh if I do say so myself thank you once again you made a little five-year-old day for his birthday. Thank you once again.
Dietary restrictions: Lots of sugar
Parking: I’ve got a lot of street parking. Yes, you do have to pay. There are signs for loading so if you’re only 10 minutes, it will be free most of the time. If you have somebody with you, they can sit in the car while you run inside and you will not get a ticket
Kid-friendliness: Everyone there is uplifting with smiles and always willing to help you out no matter your question. I just fell in love with this place.
Wheelchair accessibility: Two doors open up wide so you can wheel yourself right in

I bought a dozen kolaczki the nut kind. They were awful! The woman went in the back and got them. I brought them home and I couldn’t even finish one. I ended up throwing the rest in the garbage. I’m not saying that all the baked goods are bad. However, I will not be going back there!

I buy 2 of their donuts everyday Monday-Friday when I go to the Shell to get my coffee. Truly makes my day! Sometimes I have a hard time choosing only 2 because they’re all delicious. My favorite are the lady fingers and glazed with cherry topping!
Excellent tasty birthday cakes! Had a good experience

I've been going here for years when I lived in the area. I thought I'd stopped by since I came in from out of town as I've left the area 8 years ago. So excited to come here as I've always loved this bakery. I purchased an 8" round double layer, not cheap may I add. When we took it back to our hotel to eat it, much to my surprise, the quality had sadly changed. The once rich frosting was tasteless and the cake itself was not fresh. It was firm as if it sat for a few days. When I fly back to the area, I'll never go back. There were a few flies flying around and the bakery appeared poorly lit and unclean. Never recalled this being like this before. I worked at West Penn right beside the bakery for over 5 years. We purchased here weekly, all of my occasions, and events I bought cakes from here for over a decade. Very disappointed to have had this negative experience.

Disgusting, everything tastes like it's industrial food. Exorbitantly expensive for the nasty quality of their products.

Wonderful selection and great value!
I was completely overwhelmed by the amount, the beauty, and the quality of baked goods upon walking in. I tried to stick to a couple things but it was so hard. The cherry macaroon I tried was super moist and coconutty! I could have eaten 10 or more! The almond tort was a life changing experience. Sublime in every way. The pumpkin roll reminded me of my childhood. Sweet cream cheese filling, delicious pumpkin and spices. I can't wait to go back!
Kid-friendliness: This is the stuff a child's dreams are made of! Sprinkle cookies, cake pops, cupcakes, donuts, birthday cakes.. Oh my!

I ordered cannolis and they were definitely not fresh. They had been refrigerated over night at least and anyone who has ever made or bought cannoli knows that you cannot leave them around for a day even because the shells get soft and/or soggy. I also wasn’t the biggest fan of the filling it was a light tan brown color which I have never seen that before. They were not the absolute worst but not worth $27 for a half a dozen. If your getting cannolis in Bloomfield, Lawrenceville, Strip District area definitely go to Enrico’s. Enrico’s are made fresh and never old also made by an Italian. The lady’s were extremely friendly, and the bakery was clean I feel bad even leaving a negative review.
