We celebrated my Mom's 90th birthday last week and the staff at Paddy Cake Bakery did a stellar job for us. They made a delicious full sheet cake and included a photo of our Mom and matched the colors of the flowers to the photo. Family-owned bakeries are the best, and Paddy Cake in Bloomfield is a primary example that what I say is true.

You can smell the pastries as soon as you open the doors. Your eyes will dart around the room. Where to focus? Racks of delicious cookies, beautiful cakes, specialty treats--each one more mouth-watering than the next!

This is such a cute bakery! I came in here with a friend as she wanted to pick up a snack for the ride home. They had so many beautiful cakes, pastries, and cookies. As a person with a gluten allergy, I didn’t think I would find anything. Before leaving, I asked the workers if they had anything gluten free, and they did!
