My family went for lunch on Saturday, the place was absolutely packed! And for good reason, the food was absolutely delicious! And the service we received from our waiter was perfect. Elijah was very attentive and always happy to meet my toddlers many requests šŸ˜… Also would like to add that even though they were super busy, it took them less than 10 minutes to get us seated and the food didn’t take long to come out at all. All the food was hot and fresh, even the strawberries were freshly cut. We will definitely be spending many more breakfast and lunch dates here!

What a great and unique diner experience. We were greeted and seated immediately, and drinks arrived shortly after. This place is known for its breakfast/brunch, but we found the lunch options to be good as well. Big portions, classic flavors, and great service!

Delicious crepes, nice servers, and pleasant interior decoration. Felt like I was led in warmly and really enjoyed my crepe.

Believe the hype…

We came here on Monday morning and had to wait about 30 minutes but it could’ve been a lot longer based on what we had heard coming into Pittsburgh. Knowing that in advance, my wife and I were pleased to be seated and out of the brisk air outside. Our server came right to us and grabbed us some coffee (French pressed for my wife) and gave us some time to peruse the menu.

It didn’t take long for me to find my order - meat and eggs, which I got with turkey sausage and buttered wheat toast and fries - along with a chocolate banana hotcake. My wife ordered the croissant French toast and the Lyonnaise potatoes with a scrambled egg on the side. We didn’t have to wait very long before the food got out and, my worries about whether the table could fit all the food were out to rest quickly.

Now, this is why I write this review. The meat and eggs were great and exactly what I wanted for a traditional breakfast (tho fries instead of home fries is admittedly non traditional - that first bite of the hotcakes changed my life and I’m not joking. It was sweet, crispy, fluffy and not too thick. My wife asked for my rating and I felt like it would be Simon Cowell-like of me to say anything other than 10/10. Then she tried a bite and her life changed. She’s very particular and agreed immediately that these hotcakes were the best. They don’t need syrup, they’re perfectly thin/thick and deserve all the hype. I devoured the meal (almost all of it at least) and our bill was about $60 before tip, which was very affordable for all we got. Service was great and, while it’s a diner and seating was an open floor, we didn’t feel squished or uncomfortably out of reach of our server. Cannot wait to go back!!

Waited a while for a table but that’s to be expected because literally everyone and their mother was lined up for a table. The wait was so worth it!
service = friendly and efficient.
sunny side up eggs = cooked perfectly
Bacon = scrumptious
Corned beef hash = incredible.
Now, those pancakes…… they’re the best I’ve ever had…. Not to mention the banana & chocolate chips. šŸ™‚ā€ā†”ļø

My corned beef omelet came out paper thin, falling apart and dry. There was hardly any corned beef. The order came out about two minutes after I ordered . I’m thinking I got a reheated dish ..

First time eating here.Not worth all the hype.Omelet and potatoes were gross.The only thing good was the pancakes. Waitress super rude.The sign says they close at 2 , and we showed up at 130. Only 5 people eating in entire place.She gave us 2 minutes to look at the menu ,food was slopped onto our plates and waitress said you got 15 minutes to eat your food cause we are closing. Everyone was loafing around waiting on us and the other 5 to shove our food down.She gave us the check and closed us out right after we ordered.If your employees want out exactly at 2pm (your closing time)then you need to say you close at 1pm.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO TO DELUCAS!! MUCH BETTER FOOD AND SERVICE!!

We came in for brunch, and it was delicious. We waited for about 25 minutes for a table but it was worth it. The decor is cute and the food is great. The prices are fair, and they have large portions. Our waitress was nice also.
