Really unique in-and-out joint for Arepas, Empanadas, & Mexican Cola!
We ordered chicken empanadas and pabellon chicken arepas to go. It was $33 total. The inside is small, and all the tables were taken, so we stood outside on the sidewalk and waited. Our food only took about 10 minutes. Everything was absolutely delicious. The sauces that came with the meal were so flavorful. The chicken was so tender and juicy. We will definitely be back.
$12 for delicious venezuelan sandwich. It better and richer than a taco. Comes out pretty fast. The restaurant is pretty small and has only like 3 tables, so would recommend take out only.
Delicious arepas and the sauces they serve alongside it complement it very well
Arepas weren’t that exciting flavor wise. The veggie option had seemingly no seasoning and made for a bland menu item. The black beans, plantain and avocado had no seasoning so how could it possibly pop? Their sauce here do a LOT of heavy lifting in order to create any flavor whatsoever. Even the meats didn’t have an exceptional taste imo. The tequenos were great actually, but how couldn’t they be, they’re salty cheese with puff pastry— I mean come on. The golfeado is just an otherwordly seasoned cinnamon bun and the marquesa chocolate is just chocolate moose with nilla wafers— it’s delicious but the description sort of sexes it up more than it needs to. Over all I say kind of mid would only come back for tequenos and cilantro sauce.

Papelón is a gem! I had the chicken bowl and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back!
Delicious. Arepas were excellent. We got the pork ones and devoured them. We will be back.
