My husband and I ventured out to Paris 66 on a freezing cold evening in January - as we were absolutely stir crazy being stuck indoors following a large snow storm. The place was nearly empty but the entire staff was pleasant and welcoming. Our server, Moshe, was incredibly informative and passionate about the restaurant and the food and that made for a delightful and welcome interaction. The food was amazing. We indulged. We started with an amazing foie gras appetizer, moved onto the Chèvre chaud & root salades, porc & cutlet and boeuf bourguignon entrees, and ended with creme brûlée for dessert - all pared with a lovely cote du rhone. We were in heaven. There's nothing more comforting them well-made French food....and friendly service. We will definitely return again and again. Thanks for a perfectly wonderful evening.
Went for restaurant week and found the meal, service and setting to be terrific. It was pleasant, relaxing and totally enjoyable. The only hitch was when I asked about the wine the server mentioned one which I found a bit too much of one flavor which is not my favorite, and he immediately suggested another wine which we found to be perfect for the meal. He told me the price would be forty-ish. which would be a bit better than I expected. However, when the bill came it was $59 which surprised me. I would have probably picked it anyway but with the attention to detail of everything else I was a bit annoyed. But it was a wonderful meal and plan on going back.
Everything was parfait! Excellent food and friendly service. We'll return soon. À bientôt!
This French restaurant serves excellent filet, cassoulet, and crepes. They have authentic cuisine, charming atmosphere, and attentive service. I recommend mussels (Clams À la Marinière) and Escargot Bourguignon.
Fantastic experience from the moment we walked in the door. A step into Europe. The experience was quiet, elegant yet casual. Our host and server was the best. Professional, understated yet really welcoming and helpful. Our meal was great. Everything was prepared perfectly and absolutely no rush or pressure to turn the table. What a great experience all the way around.
Food was good considering that it was Pittsburgh Restaurant Week. Timing of food delivery could have been better since we were the first couple seated at noon on Saturday. There was no one else in the restaurant.
The quality of the food and ambiance was appreciated. Restaurant week was our first time trying Paris 66 and we plan to return.
Excellent experience with amazing staff that greeted you the second you walked into the door! Came for restaurant week and they didn't disappoint!
Just an absolutely perfect "French" style restaurant experience. High quality preparations in proper portion sizes... served in an un-rushed atmosphere. Only inauthentically French in that the staff and servers were so friendly:-)
More people need to try Paris 66! The staff is soo nice and the food is so authentic and delicious. I've loved every experience I've had at Paris 66!!

We ate during Winter restaurant week 2026. The food was quite good as was our waiter. This was the second time we took advantage of the restaurant week deal and we enjoyed it both years.
We always enjoy dining at Paris 66. The service is always excellent, but it's the delicious food that keeps us coming back! Nathan was our server and our bartender this evening and he did an excellent job! Merci beaucoup!
We made 3 pm reservations after PGC class to try & did PGH restaurant week menu. First course and second course were good however, the entrées were average as well as the desserts. My salmon was cooked medium rare, but it was still cold in the middle (so probably previously frozen). The chocolate mousse did not seem to be made fresh, and the crème brûlée was average. However, Abbey's service was excellent. Husband is Spanish but lived 5+ years in Nice, so we enjoy good food 🙂
Fantastic French food, prepared expertedly, served in a cozy bistro like atmosphere with super friendly staff.
After prior visits with good results - our meal was very disappointing. Appetizers and salads were good - entrees however, were marginal considering the high cost of the experience. Moving on....
