Been to the brewpub many, many times. The courtyard is a mess. Needs some TLC in a bad way. At least make some attempt to have it look presentable. Perhaps clean the tables? Clear the cobwebs? What happened to the hanging flower baskets every summer? And sweep out the piles of trash in the garage. Come on.
Beer and food were great! Atmosphere was really cool!
I love the fish sandwich!
Heather was a true pleasure, she was full of knowledge about different beers and history of the brewery and it's caves. We will return someday because of her warm welcome and pleasant personality.
Thank you Heather for making our first visit to Penn brewery a GREAT experience.
Oh..
And all of the beers were delicious too
Enjoy the beer but don't come for the food. Plus card fees.
In town for a concert. Sat at the bar for a meal and a beverage ahead of time. Loved their beer selection and the German cuisine (mmmm potato salad!). Thanks!
My wife and I had a great time at this brew pub. Food and drink were both delicious. And Heather our server was amazing!
The pretzel fish sandwich is must try! Beer is always great!
Great local spot
Though I was hoping for a more quiet atmosphere, I had read originally that there was a candle at dinner for Valentine's Day. The food was excellent and the server although scattered because of the sheer busyness of the location was very courteous, and if there is an issue, it was taken care of immediately.

We went for Valentine's Day for their 4 course dinner special. We were there for over 3 hours, not because we were having a good time, but because we waited about an hour to receive each course. When the food arrived it was missing elements and lacked flavor. There was no seasoning on the food at all. It was okay but certainly not worth the $125/couple.
This was the absolute worst Valentines dinner we ever had. The waitress was horrible, she took our order and that was last we seen of her. No appetizer no salad we got the entire dinner dumped on our table all at once. Appetizer was cold and soggy, salad was room temperature, the steak was good but extremely fatty then we had to wait another half hour for dessert.
I came here with my family, the service was great and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend!
Attended a Festivus celebration here sponsored by the Pittsburgh Freethought Community. Wonderful party in a large, well appointed room on the second floor. Their staff was very helpful and the food was good. There are some beautiful outdoor spaces around the brewery which would be great to have a beer in if it wasn't December!
Well, there for a family gathering. Would you believe they brought the appetizers out after we had already eaten? This place is terrible. I will never go back again. The service was absolutely horrible.
