Very good subs, but they have been downsized in the last few years.

Some of the best sandwiches in the city. Get there before the rush.

Drove across town because this place was rated as a good place to get steak sandwiches. Disappointing. Bread was not terrible but cold and a bit too sweet. The sandwich had maybe a third of the meat you'd expect, and it tasted like freezer burnt steak-ums. The reviews and pictures saying this place is a great steak sandwich place must've been from a different era.

Primanti Bros gets the attention, but every time I come to Pittsburgh for a game I go to Peppi's. Home of the Roethlis-burger (fantastic) Peppi's is a must visit. It's also close to Yinzer's so there's plenty of places to pick up some gear before or after you grab a sandwich. I love this place!

The food is fantastic but holy smokes are there hours ridiculous. Why would a sandwich shop close at 5? Are you guys trying to lose money?

I've ordered countless subs from Giovanni's on 5th avenue because unlike you guys they actually deliver and are open beyond when senior citizens eat dinner.

Originally Pennsylvania born and raised. It’s been 10 years since I’ve had a real PA Cheese Steak! Last week I’ve made the journey from New Zealand to Pittsburgh. I was highly advised to get my Cheese Steak Hoagie from Peppi’s! It was hands down a 10/10 Hoagie! But the icing on the cake was the super friendly staff and the atmosphere! If you’re in Pittsburgh seeking a nostalgic and delicious Sub, look no further! Stop in and see these wonderful people! 🤤
