We love, LOVE Peppi's! Either this location or in the strip, the employees are so amazing. The BEST attitude! Fun, funny, and really seem to enjoy working together. I got the streak salad, and it was great! Filled me up! And at a great price. Thank you, guys! ❤️

Awesome experience in every way! First time visit to Peppi’s, so I followed staff recommendations of the “Big Wheeler” (steak & sausage) and the Cajun fries, totally made my day! Price point is great as well as the atmosphere, with so many autographed photos of PGH luminaries and other memorabilia all over the walls. It was also a nice surprise to have selected a table that has an autographed photo of the “Big Wheeler” himself, for whom the sandwich was named after! Very much looking forward to future visits to the Burgh to try more varieties of their wide offerings of steak, sausage, and other delicious hoagie options that are the stuff of all meat-lovers dreams!

Maybe it was an off day. But tell me a Franko is an Italian with no dressing and one slice of meat each... disappointing for a stalwart.

Peppis is a true Pittsburgh sandwich shop. If I have friends from out of town we skip Primantis and come here for a good Pittsburgh sandwich. We also frequent get cold sandwiches to go for boat days. The prices are cash only and reasonable too!

I wish they would join the rest of the restaurants and take credit cards. I ended up with $4.95 in fees because I had to use their ATM.

Great sandwiches and located right in the North Shore by CCAC on western ave. Good prices, big portions of fries, and cozy little dine in area!

Service was excellent. Food was good although a little sparse. Haven't been here in forever but I remember (as well as everything else out in the world) I got a bit more on the sandwich. Still good and will certainly be back. Not sure about the review that said "no cash in 2025" but when we went today, they are still cash only. $30 for two hoagie combos (sandwich, drink and fries).
