Strawberry Rhubarb is delicious
I just had a piece of his sour cherry slab pie at the Sewickley Blooms Market. Ranks up there with the best pie I’ve ever had! Buttery, flaky crust and almost too much fruit. I wanted to share a “before” picture but I had it all scarfed down by the time I decided to review it.

Wonderfully delicious blueberry and mix berry pies for my wife's birthday... The pie crust is FANTASTIC!Thank you Piebird Pastry Kitchen!!!
The best, most amazing from scratch pastries. Try to catch a pop up if you can!
I have purchased multiples pies and muffins through Harvie and they are always delicious! Glad I found a quality pie shop in PGH.
The pies were tasteless and didn't seem to be thoroughly cooked... the apples seemed not fresh and possibly canned and the pumpkin had more of a peanut butter texture.... not what I'd say was an enjoyable dessert especially at $35 a pie
Amazing pies!!!
Just ridiculously phenomenal pies. I've had the chess pie, the mixed berry sour cream pie, and an apple pie. You can do a sunscription with them directly, or get them delievered any week with a Harvie membership, which is what I've done. The pies are always changing with the seasons and the ingredients are top notch.
We get Piebird pies through our Harvie Farms subscription and they have ruined us for all other pies. For each new flavor we say This is the best one of these I have ever tasted!
So disappointed. Ordered a cherry pie and the filling was like jello and completely tasteless. It was as if the cherries weren't ripe or sugar was left out of the filling..( You don't taste your fruit or your filling?)I was actually shocked considering this place came highly recommended and reading all the reviews I figured I can't go wrong. Well,I was wrong. The crust was delicious, but come on, you don't pay 28 dollars for delicious pie crust. Shame.

I can't say enough about how delicious the Pie Bird pies are. You have to try them for yourself. Shenot Farm in Wexford has the Pumpkin Custard pie I have pictured. (as well as many others) I have also found Pie Bird at the Neighborhood Flea in the Strip District and at the Squirrel Hill Night Markets. If you're using Instagram find Pie Bird and watch for postings as to their pop up locations. I promise you will not be disappointed.
For our son's birthday, they made us an Apple and a Mixed Berry pie. Incredible. So incredible, in fact, that I've decided I will never make a pie again. I'll just buy them from Pie Bird. SO GOOD!!
Delicious, rustic, traditionally made pies!
