Great food, friendly bartenders, nice atmosphere. Definitely the most authentic UK style pub in Pittsburgh.

I thought this place served Scottish food. No meat pies and the entres were all English food.

The quintessential Soccer pub with great beers, whisky and English food. Love that they have vegetarian friendly options that actually taste like good vegetables and aren't just meat substitutes.Vegetarian options: Shepardless pie, Sunday veggie boxty

Stopped in late on a Sunday (an hour before close) and even though they were out of a couple of items, everything was still great! The people there were extremely helpful and really nice, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the food was great. Can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in Pittsburgh.

So glad that Piper’s is back! They were very much missed over the last couple years. Great spot in the Southside with a ton of traditional pub classics, but they also offer salads, sandwiches and vegetarian items. When we visited most recently we went for brunch. It wasn’t super busy, which was nice, because if you go when there is soccer or rugby on tv then good luck! I had the onion soup which was tasty, although I miss it the old way topped with the Stilton! Then I tried the Chambersburg Pudding, which was fried chicken thigh and mashed potatoes wrapped in Yorkshire pudding and topped with gravy. Very rich but tasty. The traditional Cottage Pie is still one of the best things on the menu, and if you want breakfast food they do have boxty, waffles and some other brunch items.

My husband and I visited today we was greeted as soon as we walked in and seated quickly. We had fish and chips which was served hot and fresh it was delicious and worth the drive. Only feed back I would give is to have a children's option.
