I feel bad leaving this review because we like the food and good people work there, but I don't think I can do it anymore.
There's no point in using their online ordering system - it's useless. We have placed online orders through their website multiple times. Every. Single. Time. they hadn't even looked at our order when we arrive to pick it up and we have to wait for our food to be made as if we just walked in off the street.
For my last order, I saw that I can schedule an order at a specific time, so I ordered online to be picked up in an hour. I arrived 5 min early and there was a sign on the door saying that they will be back in 20 min. After re-opening they had to make it right then (as usual) and I had to wait for it. I had been standing around for 25 min until my order was ready.
When I got home I found that they didn't even get the order right. Awesome.
I'm sad that I try to make it easy but it ends up being inconvenient.

Got the chicken shawarma wrap with garlic sauce - fantastic. Owner is a nice guy.
Pita My Shawarma isn’t just a place to grab a bite—it’s a neighborhood gem that truly feels like part of the community. The owner is one of the kindest, most welcoming people you’ll meet. He greets regulars by name and makes newcomers feel right at home. You can tell he genuinely cares, not just about the food, but about the people he’s serving.
The menu is full of fresh, flavorful options, but the loaded fries are the absolute standout—crispy, savory, and piled high with shawarma, garlic sauce, and all the good stuff. Every bite is pure comfort.
It’s rare to find a place that nails both heart and flavor like this. Pittsburgh is lucky to have it.

Me and my Girlfriend use to go down to the one in cranberry and we swear by it definitely one of our top 10 places to eat.

I came here to get straight up saucy with the PGH Shawarma wrap. Hate to tell yinz, no sauce. Actually dry. So dry. Nobody likes it dry. It’s gotta be wet. Saw no sauce anywhere. Pretty salty and eh flavor. Needs the sauce!
Also, $40 for two shawarma wraps is kinda crazy.

Great food, flavor combination balanced, and good amount of protein in a portion. My shawarma had chicken because there was not lamb. :(

Very good shawarma and falafel. One of the few authentic places for that in Pittsburgh
One thing is that the garlic is slightly strong in the shawarma and could be made slightly less strong
