Chicken Shawarma was great. Fries are seasoned well. I can still taste the garlic in my mouth 👌 Small inside but enough for maybe 6 to 8 people for dine in.

I had an AWESOME take out meal here! I ordered a build your own falafel pita. It was excellent. Fresh, tasty, and filling. My only extremely minor issue was that the garlic sauce is strong enough to kill an elephant. I’d like it toned down a bit. I think that next time I’d go w/ sesame sauce.

Food was above average but easily overshadowed by high prices and small portion sizes.

I was in the mood for some shawarma and was lucky enough to find this place nearby on Google maps. It far surpassed my expectations — everything was fresh from my pita to the zataar fries. Quick and friendly service. Bar style dining — we people watched at the window and enjoyed our meal. Their house made chili sauce was solid too!

This was the best shawarma I have ever had, seasoning was perfect, juicy, fresh cuts of meat, and the sauces and fillings in the wrap were a perfect balance of flavors. Not overly expensive, great food.

You walk in and immediately smell deliciousness and can see meat on a spit being made at Pittsburgh’s most authentic shawarma. Pita My Shawarma located in Lawrenceville, serving up Lebanese street food, falafel, Halloumi fries, hummus and more. Started as a food truck and has evolved into that plus a storefront. Absolutely incredible food. They have some seating indoors, some outdoors, offer pickup and are available on food delivery services as well. Super clean space, very friendly staff and you can watch them make your meal as the kitchen is exposed. Tried their hummus dip and pita which is fresh homemade hummus with two loaves of fresh pita bread- may be one of the best homemade hummuses I have had! The Chicken Shawarma & Rice is a fresh, hand stacked, & rotisserie shaven chicken over Lebanese rice with fresh veggies and a garlic sauce. This was delicious and the portion was a decent size (I had leftovers)! Had to taste their hand-cut Zaaatar fries- wow were these good. Hand cut fries with sesame, thyme seasoning and kosher salt with a side of ketchup and aioli to dip! Couldn’t leave without tasting their Baklava- with an order you get two pieces of this sweet dessert made with filo dough, walnuts, simple syrup and pistachio crumbles. I am jumping on the bandwagon, Shawarma Is Life!!!

Found this place on a whim walking through the neighborhood. 15/10 recommend. Very friendly and welcoming staff, convenient sitting area and comfortable atmosphere, and great menu selections. First time having chicken shawarma; just wow. Cleaner eating without compromising the flavor of the food. Each bite was packed with flavor and a delight in itself. Probably just became my favorite wrap in the city. Will definitely be back! Great job 👏🏻

I did my research and it paid off- Pita My Shawarma has the best Shawarma Fries in Pittsburgh. This is not hyperbole. The Zataar seasoning adds so much flavor and complexity that you don’t find a lot around here. Getting even more to go. We’ll be back A LOT.

Liked the chicken shawarma! And the garlic dip. I would probably prefer a smaller version of it, something that I could finish it there. Just a personal choice though. Found it to be too big and overloaded (no fries, no rice) but it was good.

Stopped in by chance while in the neighborhood, and I'm so glad I did. The food at Pita My Shawarma is fresh, generously portioned, and packed with flavor. My family has Lebanese roots, so we have high expectations, and this place delivered. We had the meat pie, stuffed grape leaves, baklava, and a pita wrap—everything was seasoned perfectly and absolutely delicious. A great spot for a quick, satisfying meal that hits the spot.

Previous reviews were very positive so wanted to check it out. We were not disappointed and thought the food was delicious and very authentic. We had 2 gyros and the tzatziki which was very tasty. Would highly recommend
