The best pizza, ever. This place introduced me to Mike's Hot Honey on Pizza and is definitely my favorite pizza in 'burgh.

AMAZING PIZZA! Unfortunately we just found out about this pizza and they're closing next week. So bummed. We haven't been able to find good neopolitian pizza like this anywhere in Pittsburgh. Sad to see it close but try to get in before July 11th!

Great pizza worth the drive from the South hills

Pizza Taglio is still operating during this COVID-19 crisis and the owner himself is in the back making delicious gourmet pizza for you to pick up. He has the best attitude and his positive attitude is as addictive as the pizza. If you need a pick-me-up, go pick up a yummy pizza and talk to the owner with a laugh and personality to boost anyone’s spirits!

I would say 4.5 for Pizza Taglio. We've been on an unofficial pizza tour of Pittsburgh, so this was our 3rd stop so far. After a lot of research, this place seems to be on the radar. We actually waited in line with a few other people before it opened. Always a good sign. The place is small, and our server was knowledgeable. We got a bucket of ice for our very, very cheap wine since it's BYOB. This is the only BYOB pizza place so far that has offered us ice which I really liked. After watching too much Food Network/The Pizza Show on Vice, I've learned that Roman pizza is supposed to droop when you pick it up. This pizza seems very true to the style. The pizzas are small enough for one person (in my opinion). The crust has that crispy, burned (good kind of burned) oven taste. We got the Margherita pizza, and the Davide. We finished them both quickly and were satisfied, but i honestly contemplated ordering more. Since the crust is thin, they aren't super heavy We will likely be back to try some different ones. I'm upset I didn't get the Bianca-it looked great!

Probably the best pizza in Pittsburgh. Pro tip: ask to add an egg yolk to your pie.

I couldn't tell if this place was super authentic or super chill. If that makes sense. Looked like the menu was daily or at least seasonal because of the options. I got the Bianca which was a white pizza with spinach, cherry tomatoes and grilled onions. My husband go the Bob Malnati which was a red pizza with mozzarella, calabrese, sopressata, and some Calabrian chilies. (Little bit of a kick to it). The pizzas were a little burned but I don't think that's a usual practice. I would be willing to go back and try it because the parts that weren't burned were delicious! I think I'll try the margherita pizza and the arugula salad next time!

If you are driving, parking is very difficult. The place is a little difficult to find. It's an old building the ceiling is falling apart. The toilets are clean. The pizza is very good. Limited selection. The service was OK.

This was excellent pizza. The closest thing to real deal Italian pizza like in Italy! I cannot wait to go back and have not found a place so authentic and classic Italian as Pizza Taglio in all of Pittsburgh. So happy to have found this spot. All the pizzas are great!

The first time I came to Pizza Taglio it was with a coworker from the Naples region of Italy. His expectations were low that we’d find him good, authentic pizza in Pittsburgh, but he was blown away. He gave us his seal of approval on the pizza, we had a great meal with BYOB drinks, and enjoyed the night. This is now our go to pizza place for takeout. The staff are super friendly and the owner is always in the shop making sure everything is made to the highest quality. Great place!

Really awesome pizza, some of the best I've ever had! Not a super kid-friendly experience (they do have highchairs but very small tables and glassware all over) so save it for date night.

Pizza's were delicious! Our waiter was helpful and experienced with the menu. Cozy/ crowded environment.
