Came for the bubble tea and found the prices to be very reasonable. There is a huge selection and I will have to come back to try more. Very quick service and friendly staff.

Exceptional flavors and creative dishes! The fusion of Asian cuisines here is truly remarkable. Each dish is a delightful journey of taste and texture. Definitely a memorable Easter take-out experience. Highly recommend! The crispy eggplant and fried eggplant with cow horn pepper dish were my absolute favorites and more than likely going to be my must haves every time from Yoka Kitchen moving forward now! ?Thank you for cooking my Easter dinner! ??

I am impressed on the tasty food such as fishball curry, hor fun, butter sauce fried chicken, etc. In addition, the service is top of the notch and the owner is very friendly. I will definitely go again when we are in Pitts.

Great food! The Beef randang was excellent as well as the cucumber salad. Will definitely get their food again.

I order the on Ubereats a lot! It's really convenient as it's close to my place, and they have the best bubble tea! Specifically I like the lemon, which is my favorite (it has real lemons in it! And I always get the strawberry red heart jelly). It's nice to get as a treat after school and I just really love this place!! :)

The freshest boba in Oakland! All of the workers are very attentive and kind towards their customers, especially Vivian and Rennie. The beef chow fun and taro basque cheesecake were also really tasty! Definitely seeing myself back here

Stopped in for my Sunday afternoon boba craving and wanted to check out a new place. It was really cute inside and it seemed like it was more of a restaurant than a boba shop but you are allowed to sit anywhere if you order drinks. Really expansive boba menu and the hotpot menu looks great too. The rest of the customers were all enjoying hotpot meals so I'll have to come back to try it. My mango smoothie was fresh and I appreciated how there was not many artificial coloring since most mango smoothies are heavily orange colored. The tapioca was really QQ (meaning perfectly chewy for tapioca in Chinese). Also ordered the scallion pancakes as a snack and they were surprisingly really good. So crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, plus they had slight spice to them but it wasn't overpowering or anything - I never have 葱油饼 (scallion pancakes) with seasoning but it was delicious. For around $6 they gave me a ton of pieces, I didn't remember to take a pic until I was almost done.

TLDR: Issues with consistencyLet me preface this by saying that I've dined in at the restaurant a few times and for the most part am a fan of the food. However, I order delivery most of the time (>10 times), and have felt that there is great variability in the quality and ingredients of the food.Specifically, when ordering stir-fried noodles, the noodle texture varies significantly, sometimes being nice and firm, and other times being soggy (almost inedible at times). The amount of spice is highly variable as well, with my medium spicy noodles sometimes having absolutely no spice added to it.

It was cold out and we opted to try hot pot. We came in before 7 on a Friday and it was pretty busy and only got busier as the evening went on, with mix of students, families, and professionals stopping in for dinner. There are sheets that you can check off for how you want hot pot or dry pot (stir fry). We accidentally did dry pot though it was still delicious. There were multiple protein options included so it leaned heavily on being more meat forward than we anticipated. The dry pot came with rice. We were full from dinner and do want to try the restaurant again, particularly for hot pot.

I've ordered takeout from this restaurant before and found the packaging to be very clean. For example, the chopsticks are sealed and not red. Then I came here to eat. The overall feeling was clean and tasted good. I really liked the spicy hotpot here.

Love this spot! We had spicy hot pot, chicken wings, scallion pancake, dumplings, fish balls in curry, and we stayed for dessert too - the coconut jelly was great, not too sweet.Kid-friendliness: Staff were super sweet with our young kids and even brought them small gifts. ? We'll definitely be back!

sadly, this boba is not good. among the worst i’ve ever tried in pittsburgh. i got a matcha tea latte with boba. the tea was very watery and had no flavor. the boba were very small and soft. i don’t recommend.

10/10. I am a repeat customer. Chef talked to me about ingredients in dishes because of my allergies. Chef loves to make food that people love and make sure that they love it. He can tell you about the history of the dishes and how he carefully makes them. All food is authentic real recipes.Dietary restrictions: Chef knows the ingredients in all food he serves. Chef excitedly tells you exactly what it's made of so you never have to feel bad about asking.
