Went with my husband and our 2 teen daughters. We ordered a pizza margherita, which was good but we also ordered the chicken marsala, chicken picatta and a gnocchi with Alfredo sauce and a side of plain pasta with oil and garlic. Everything with the exception of the pizza has WAY TOO MUCH garlic. We couldn't even eat the pasta, even though we sent it back to see if they could remove some of the garlic. Three of us has an upset stomach that night and we could feel the garlic in our bodies. Food was good overall, but they need to be careful with the garlic next time.

The food was fantastic from start to finish. Great arancini and mixed salad. Excellent fresh pasta dishes and tiramasu was a great ending. The service was excellent as was the ambiance. Just a perfect meal!

Food of very good and the atmosphere is great, but it is way overpriced. Other places offer more for less.

This is one of my go-to restaurants in downtown Pittsburgh. It is consistently great. The food is awesome, the service is always good and it's a lively and fun place. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for great Italian food and good drinks.

Be aware... parties of 8 more cannot split a check more than 4 equal ways. This is difficult when there are a mix of co-workers traveling (and can expense) and locals (who cannot expense). It's an incredibly short-sighted policy in a downtown location hosting business traffic.

Beware; meals labeled vegan aren’t vegan. Service was lacking. Overall unimpressed.

Save your money, at this place vegan does not mean vegan. Most foods not available, service and food mediocre at best. Don't walk away from this place, go to Dick's Sporting Goods, buy yourself a new pair of Brooks & run away from this dump.

Save your money!!! Beware the vegan products are not vegan…we were told the vegan pasta contains egg. Constantly out of items. Ordered a lemonade and they were out. Ordered a coffee and when we asked for a second they told us the coffee maker was already off…? Ordered bread and were told they were out of bread…? (Even though bread came out with a salad, the pizza is made of bread and you have all the ingredients to make bread.) Crazy to get this service with a reservation. How about don’t take customers or reservations if you are not capable of accommodating them. The wedding soup is sour. Contacted the restaurant via the email on their website and it failed. Called the restaurant asking for the manager or owners email and were met with extreme hesitation. Eventually someone gave us the manager, John’s, email and we emailed him but never heard back. Not surprised based off the trash experience we had. Would totally avoid this place and go elsewhere.

I called about vegan options and was told they had two a Spaghetti dish and pizza. I explained my granddaughter is extremely allergic to eggs, milk, shell fish and nuts. They assured me the dishes were vegan. We arrived for our reservation and ordered the vegan Spaghetti for our granddaughter. The waiter went back to place the order for our party of 7. He came back out and said the Spaghetti is not vegan and contains eggs. The menu states that it's vegan though. I wonder how many vegans ate that assuming it was a vegan dish. We finally ordered a vegan single serve pizza and had to add chicken because they didn't have vegan cheese for $28.00. We also asked for bread for the table and were told they were out of bread (in a pizza place I might add). We ate our dinner which wasn't anything that outstanding for the price. My husband asked for more coffee and was told they already turned it off for the evening. I have a good idea how about asking if he would like another cup before you turn it off for the evening idiot. The whole night there was awful 😖 . We will never ever go back. The Mount Lebanon one is clearly the winner to us.

I called 40 minutes before closing time at 8 PM to place a takeout order for a single pizza. The staff member, Lincoln, immediately put me on hold when I asked to place an order and then curtly informed me that the kitchen was already closed—40 minutes early. Very disappointing.

I went with a group of friends for dinner yesterday and we were quite literally robbed. The food was great and was served very quickly which we really appreciated. We split 2 pizzas amongst the 5 of us and the bill came out to be $51 (which is fine). Our server initially gave us one check and when my friend started to ask if we could split it, she interrupted and immediately said no. We ended up paying in cash in order to split the cost somehow and giving a little extra in change (we only had bigger bills), expecting a receipt and our change back so that we could then tip her but 20 minutes went by and we did not receive anything. My friend called this morning and confirmed that they do in fact split checks so I'm not sure why she lied about that or if she was just unaware but I am very upset with the service and the fact that she stole money from us.

I’ve tried multiple times to order online in the evening before the rush, but every time I attempt to place an order, I’m met with, “We are no longer taking online orders.”

This has happened three times now. Today, I even called a couple of hours in advance to confirm the cut-off time and was told it was 6 PM. I went online to place my order at 5:28 PM, only to find I couldn’t proceed because they had already stopped accepting orders.

When I called to express my frustration, they weren’t willing to assist. It’s been incredibly frustrating trying to eat here—so much so that I’m not sure why I keep trying.

This has become our go to place when visiting Pittsburgh. We have always enjoyed our meals. Our waitress Sara was super friendly and on point with our order. And she provided us with great recommendations. Due to the size and how close the tables were to each other, I gave it a 4 out of 5. We will definitely be back.
