Daughter and son-in-law moved not too far from the Strip. Needed pizza to fuel the moving crew(friends and family). Would highly recommend Davide, ordered 3 XL pizzas and 3 large salads which was plenty for our group of 12. Everyone was impressed with how delicious the pizza was and would definitely order again. The staff was phenomenal as well, quite accommodating and personalible

The pizza was delicious, hot, and fast. The traditional Philly was full of good quality meat and it wasn’t overpowered by the onions. The service was top notch too. Really chill crew and helpful. The only thing I’d say against this place is that all seating is outdoors and it was hot 🥵 but they have heaters for when it’s cool which is nice.

The pizza was fantastic, but the experience was unfortunately soured by the woman working the window around 6:50 PM on July 27th. She appeared to be in her 30s with brown hair and had a noticeably passive-aggressive attitude for no clear reason. Because of this, we ended up with a cold pizza. That’s not something we expected from a place known for great food. Disappointing when other customers showed more courtesy and warmth than your staff.
We had pre ordered catering for 3:00 pm Sunday 11/27 for a family birthday party at our house.
When I arrived a few minutes before 3:00, the person that I gave my name to for the order looked extremely confused to the point that I called my wife to make sure she had paid and had an order confirmation. She did, and after about 5 minutes, the person found a sheet of paper with the order. She asked that I give her about 5 minutes.
I checked in about 15 minutes later, and she said that it was close. Another 15 minutes went by. I checked again, and finally at about 3:40, 3:4, they gave me the order.
I am fairly certain that the order was forgotten and they made it on the fly. I had 12 family members over for a joint birthday celebration. So the delay was annoying, but then when we began eating, we noticed that some of the meatballs appeared undercooked. Some of our stomachs were not great the next day.
The rosettes were overcooked and we were not given any sauce.

This pizza is amazing, and it deserves the recognition of all the famous pizza people. Went there cuz of Tik toc, and I’ll be back cuz the pizza is the best I’ve ever had. Super awesome joint, kinda a hole-in-the-wall type of place, but you really can’t go wrong sitting at an outside table eating amazing thin crust perfectly cooked pizza.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan options. My mom’s a radical vegan and this place would get her swampy.

I ordered the New Yorker cheese and it’s just bad. Slices are difficult to eat because there is zero firmness, lack of sauce and it’s overly greasy. Honestly it’s a dollar slice you get at a stand in New York. Maybe it’s true to the name.

Great Thinner crust, often crispy, w a hearty chew. Often feels a little sourdoughy, which most I think will like, but a few might not. Sauce is wonderfully flavorful. Cheese doesn’t standout, but in general fits into the general high standard across the whole pie.
As a whole it feels like quality ingredients here. This is the Italian soul. Simple quality ingredients. Cooked well. Hell yea
Only thing, I’ve eaten here maybe 10x and There’s a wide variety of pies and style variation - and sometimes quality. I am always satisfied, and sometimes it’s fine and good, and sometimes it’s the best.
Note Some of their pies (Eg cache de pepe however you spell it) do veer a little more indulgent/pgh style at times. It’s part of the variation life here. In general a ny style at the core.
In general Davide is in the group of the best pgh places for a good ny style pie. Here, lupo, maybe badamos.
I will always go back to Davide. And will always be happy to
