What an amazing little bakery. Cathleen is amazing to meet someone that is so happy early in the morning taking her time with my niece and I and delivering the most amazing pastries ever. She truly demonstrates that there are still amazing people in this world that can share their happiness and turn someone's day enter realizing that just a smile and conversation is so special and spreads love in compassion. And that's just what we need now. 😊

When I first placed my order it was for sourdough bread bowls and then called back and added a cake. The day of pick up they said the bread bowls were not available. Offered no discount for the cake that I still picked up which I had scramble and find replacement bread bowls somewhere else. For the cake the icing was good but do not believe it was buttercream which I asked for. Cake also separated. The cake itself was average at best nothing mind blowing. There was greasy smudge marks all over the box too. I had high hopes for this place since it is close to me but sadly won't be returning. 🫤

I had one of their cakes at a work function and I have never tasted anything so divine!!! I stopped in there to get some pastry's and all of their products are delicious. Highly recommend the cakes! Only downside is the parking situation, totally worth the hassle though!
not impressed. stopped in for a donut which was stale and had a fuzz on it. the baked goods looked very weird. I don’t know how to describe it, but i wouldn’t recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about Potomac bakery! They provided this beautiful and delicious wedding cake for our May 2025 wedding and it was perfect. They were so accommodating to work with. My fiancé is from overseas and was only going to be here for a few days around Christmas. They came in the day after Christmas to do our cake tasting and we were so grateful! Thank you!
