This place is old school: old school service, old school bakery items, and old school decor. Now to the most important part of the review. My daughter wanted five dozen for her wedding reception. I tasted over a dozen lemon bars from various bakeries throughout the Pittsburgh area. And Potomac bakery won the taste test with me and nearly every person who tried them. They got compliments from people who had them from the cookie table.
Every time I've had cake from them it's been So Good. So today I wanted to have a cake ordered and they answered and made us wait over 12min until it was exactly 5pm and then they hung up. We tried to call back and they wouldn't answer. That was so weird and unprofessional.
The Potomac Bakery is a family favorite! We love the chocolate chip muffins, and the donuts are delectable. Iced sugar cookies from Potomac Bakery are amongst the greatest I’ve ever eaten. Potomac bakery is a great part of our community.
