Best cake not only in Pittsburgh but in general! Anytime we are in the city, we make it a point to stop in for their original almond torte cake. The cake is moist, the pastry cream and icing are not overly sweet, and the almonds are perfection! Cannot recommend this place enough!
Ordered the hermit cookie as it looked very rich and chocolatey, I should’ve asked what was in it as it had dried fruit which made for a Less enjoyable texture - but that’s on me.
Not impressed by the chocolate croissant, it was not buttery and more like a bread roll.
Worth another visit
The pineapple and cheese pastry was the redemption - delicious.

I had a Whoopie pie. It was good and the worker was nice. The other baked goods looked good too. The place could use some updating on the inside. I’d come back if in the area.
