This was our first full night in Pittsburgh and this was close to our hotel, and given its reputation we had to give it a try. Over all we were a bit disappointed, the service was slow as the kitchen was swamped with walk in and take away orders (although the kitchen looked dysfunctional from what I could see). We did get a free portion of fries as we waited. The onion rings starter we got were luke warm but I can't fault the wings I had for main though.
Very friendly staff. Must try when visiting Pittsburgh. Huge sandwiches. Couldn't even finish mine.

I started going here regularly and I have to say this Primanti's by far has the nicest staff and the best food. They work hard and deserve some credit for always being on top of both service and quality.

Food was really not great, the coleslaw was browning and soggy, instead of crisp like it is at other primanti bros. Also took upwards of 40 minutes for 2 sandwiches

They were incredibly rude, as if engaging with me verbally was asking a great deal of them. I ordered online, they tried to ignore me, then told me it’d be a few minutes, okay, fine. I wait for like twenty minutes (in addition to the twenty before getting there) and after a while finally go up and ask again and without saying a word she grabs a bag that had been sitting there for who knows how long and hands it to me. Wasted a lot of time because the employees there have zero system of managing orders.

Don’t get it. It’s just a sandwich with fries on it. There were 6 customers in the place and 6 employees and you had to beg for any service. Beer was flat. After asking for a drink one employee walked 5 feet away and leaned against the counter just to dig his hands through disgusting hair behind the counter where food is made and stare into space?! Yucky! Such a shame because it’s seems like it could be a cool spot to sit and enjoy yourself.

I sat here for about 40 minutes waiting to order, and no one ever came to ask me anything. I sat at the bar for 40 minutes waiting for the server to notice me. I even took out my card and ID, put away my laptop, and sat there waiting to be served. I saw people come in and get asked the basic question.
I’m honestly kinda of offended cause I’ve been here before and I’ve gotten good service. But I can’t for the life of me understand why no one came and even asked me if I wanted anything.
It was like I had wrong them or done something but I’ve never done anything like that.

Give Jamie a raise! That girl crushed during a late lunch rush on 9/20. Made it through a 100 sandwich order like it was nothing. Server was a bit slow, but the show made up for it. Pittsburgh classic.
I have eaten here several times. It has been hit or miss. One time the two young ladies working act like we're invisible and the next time the guy on the grill is kill'n it with smiles and burning hot fries. My go to is the Primanti Bros corned beef, comfort at it's best. Place is a bit dark and dated, but some might say that's the motif.

Order delivery. Missing pricy items from the order combined with messy packaging that ruined the food. Employees don't belong to restaurants business
