I was roofied hereI’ve lived near here for years and had gone to this bar a decent amount of times over the course of the last 4 year. However, about 10 months ago I got drugged while out at this bar. So I called the bar to report it, didn’t put it on social media, didn’t write a review. Told them times and dates I was there and that I had been drugged. They were understanding and empathetic on the phone. I ended up going to the bar a few times after just for food during the day I’d say about 4 times. I had a friend from out of town visiting about 3 months ago, he really wanted to visit some where near me to get food, so we settled on pub in the park. When we got there they pulled him aside and told him they couldn’t serve me because I had written reviews online that I had been roofied there (I had not) and so we left. I’m not sure why they would say that, unless the person who roofied me was a regular and was there at that time and they were protecting them. I definitely really debated writing this because this is my local bar and I don’t want any problems. However, I feel like women in the community deserve to know this places priorities. They cater to older men and carry pub style food that is pretty decent but nothing you couldn’t find in shady side or Oakland.

I sometimes have a hard time finding this little neighborhood bar. It's a gem. I feel like it's kind of like a phantom bar that phases in and out of existence, like something out of Brigadoon. It defines the word 'cozy'. The food went from reheated pizza to (now) very respectable bar food. It's always chill here, and the prices are right. Bar staff are consistently friendly.It's good that this place is hard to find. It's for locals, and people that know how to behave in bars. If you can't respect that, you shouldn't go.

A true corner pub with all the best neighborhood vibes, friendly staff, and scrumptious bar bites. I wasn't looking for anything too greasy, so I settled for a chicken wrap, and it really hit the spot! The side salad was also legit -- NOT just bagged lettuce that some places will throw on a plate, but real vegetables. If you do want a bit of a treat, the buffalo cauliflower was gobbled up pretty quick at our table!

What a wonderful local bar. The staff greets you with a smile and asks how you are before you sit down. The food is great and they have a list of specials. Ice cold drinks as well and a number of TVs to watch a sporting event.
This place has outdoor tables that allow someone has dog and kids to enjoy their meals, and the owner is always very nice, he notices regular customers and often offers free drink, also I have to mention they have different specials on food and events going on all the

What a cool gem! This place is in a quiet little neighborhood. Easily found street parking, mid-afternoon was still busy, sat at the bar was greeted immediately, awesome food!!
