This place should have a higher rating. Mr. Thomas serves some of the best chicken, ribs, sides, and cornbread around. Forget the menu, forget delivery, just go in and enjoy what feels like home cooking served by someone who truly cares.
Been here multiple times over the last year or so, never been disappointed. Always friendly, food is always fresh, prices are more than fair.

This is a no-thrills neighborhood fried chicken place who's biggest seller is the fried whole wings. It's a place for those who know, know. It's attached to a gas station, but is it's own speparate business. I'm pretty sure it's cash only. Just go in, order some wings and a few sides. You will not be disappointed.

I ordered my meal through grubhub.....I had items missing from my order. Not to mention they did not give me the items I'd selected for my meal. The carelessness of them not checking to make sure the items were correct. I will not be spending my money there anymore.

Had many items in my order Offered to make me more chicken legs and informed me that ribs would be available if I cared to wait( which I did!) it was worth the wait! Friendly and informative I will be back for sure!

Best chicken ever! I ordered 6 spicy thighs and 6 regular thighs and instead of 6 regular thighs I received legs and wings. They did try and make up for it with adding cornbread.

Chickens really good, the cornbread muffins are insane, the waffles are out of this world lol. It’s not the cleanest looking place but the food is unmatched.

I had heard the chicken was good, so I stopped in and checked it out. Got a wing plate with greens and yams. The chicken was great and the sides out of this world. The greens had a nice spice I've been missing since leaving Louisiana earlier this year. The yams were sweet with apples. The owner was friendly.
Yes, this restaurant is in a gas station. The actual cooking equipment and work areas looked clean. I can't wait to go back!
