I like Lucky's. Fun atmosphere and almost all of the patrons are gay men. I wish there were more people like me in their early 20s there as the crowd is mainly millennials and older. I also wish they gave out water. I totally recommend checking out Lucky's.

Cash queer establishment and political powerhouse for 30+ years surviving suicides and addictions mother Nancy provides for all her children and more throughout her own health victories. You better tips your bartenders like your existence depends on it

I've known the bartender Sam for years, even named my cat after her.
Haven't been there in years but enjoyed it!

This segregation station refuses to serve Navy Sailors. I sailed South West Asia on the O'Brien. Spend elsewhere.

This place makes dive bars seem posh. That’s what makes it great.

Best bar in Pittsburgh, especially the upstairs. ;)

It's a dive bar, which isn't inherently a bad thing. However I do notice that bars with that moniker let things fall to the side for no other reason than just because. They let people smoke inside, so don't wear anything that you actually care about because it's going to soak into your clothes. I also felt like I was continuously looked over for drinks. I gave the woman the benefit of the doubt because they weren't exactly empty. I come in and stand close to the bar, waiting to get her attention. Eventually, what I can only assume are her friends come in. She immediately perks up and takes their drink orders. At that point I can only assume that maybe I was the problem and got a little more direct about getting a drink. I don't stay where I feel like I need to beg people to take my money. I had two drinks and got out of there. Drinks are at least at a reasonable price.

It’s alright. Watching the go-go dancers gets old pretty fast. The place is definitely a dump— not that that’s inherently bad. I would go back but not regularly
I got a generic Red Bull and paid full price 🤷🏼♀️ it’s a hole in the wall bar, but for a good vibe it wasn’t bad. Felt safe despite the aesthetic. Participants seemed friendly/respectful enough.
