Decent Mexican food not that authentic but Americanized do not get the guacamole they come to the table with is expensive and it seems like it's free but it's not otherwise decent place for Mexican
Salsa and chips were provided free, the salsa was very watered down. I make better salsa at home. The only highlight of the salsa was the salt. We were served table side guacamole at an astounding $9.99. The guacamole was decent but it lacked cilantro, salt, and lime. Cilantro was in it but very minimal at best. I got the Mark burrito at $20.00. Not much shrimp and the steak was dried out. My wife got the street tacos, those were good. My wife ordered a soft drink at $4.00 which...
We have been dining at Rey Azteca for many years now (and doing take-out, which they do very well) and I have to say it's probably the best experience overall in Monroeville/Penn Hills area that doesn't break the bank. Great food, very clean, friendly people. It's beautifully decorated right now for Christmas too! Very festive. Alot of care is put into how they run their business and its apparent. I personally love their salsa, fresh guacamole, all of the tacos...
