I’m in Pittsburgh for work this week and Rock ‘n’ Joe’s was the 4th local coffee shop I tried. It was also the only good coffee I’ve gotten! It has unique syrups and the best atmosphere as well. I definitely plan to go again before I head back home

Drinks were pretty good, lots of options on the menu, even for non-coffee drinks. The scone and sandwich were tasty and they offer to warm it up for you. Service was excellent and nice atmosphere. I bought some beans but they aren't very flavorful and the roast date was two months ago

Average cafe. Their smoothies are actually a slushy- no real fruit, sugar syrup only! When we told them we do not consume sugar, and to please give us a smoothie with real fruit, his reply was “This is how we do it here”. Food prepared a day in advance, bagels were stale and chewy!
Lots of other good cafes around the corner.

Finally- Someone knows how to make a cortado!! I was excited when I saw the cortado was in a tiny cup, so I knew it was correct. It was nice and strong. The woman working behind the bar was new and she did a great job!!

We really enjoyed this coffee shop! Our iced lattes were delicious & the team members were super friendly and kind even when some customers were making their jobs difficult. Even better, they spotted my partner and dog outside on the patio and offered a pup cup.

Same as the other review, went on Sunday at 10 am and No-one was there. Why would you put hours when you don’t open on time?
I'm a musician and love coffee, so obviously I had to come back to this place! I ordered the iced caramel overload latte and I absolutely loved it, it was delicious and so rich!

Please update open hours. Went on Sunday 8 am place was closed, came back again 9 am still closed. May be open during peak seasons
Best coffee downtown! Their lattes are so good! They’ve won some awards for them for best in Pittsburgh, too. The brand of syrups they use is a good quality, I think. The flavors are always really prominent. Photo is old, but relevant, sometimes they do latte art, it depends on who is working. They have good food, too. I like their ham & swiss baguette sandwich. Their pastries are also delicious. The upstairs is really nice to sit and relax in. Overall, as I said, it’s my favorite coffee downtown. I really hope they never close!

Its bang in the middle of downtown near the cultural district surrounded by imposing skyscrapers. The coffee is good and my request to sweeten mine with honey was very graciously accepted. They seem to have lots of variety but i went for a generic iced latte. There is seating on the second floor which is accessible by a staircase and also couple of tables outside as well which is nice on a sunny day. The only reason i am not giving it a perfect score is because no details stood out for me. It’s a generic good coffee shop!

I was walking down Penn near Sixth in the cultural district trying to find my bus stop. The Rock 'n' Joe sign caught my eye. I had an exceptionally hot green tea, well warmed blueberry scone and yogurt with granola for a reasonable price. Seating for 21 an easy climb upstairs. I hope I can find Rock'n' Joe the next trip to Pittsburgh.

The Rose latte was such a new experience. I never knew what a floral taste meant.
