Easily the best coffee shop downtown. The coffee is surprisingly good and went above my expectations! Some other reviews have made comments on the employees but I found them to be perfectly friendly. If you're looking for a coffee in 'dahntahn' Pittsburgh, I highly reccomend it!
came in on a sunday at ~9:45am. 2 employees, and 3 people ahead of us. didn’t order until about 10:10 and didn’t get our coffee or food until about 10:35. The service was extremely slow. People ahead of us looked annoyed, as if they were waiting a while, too. coffee was good (although i ordered a large and they gave me a medium) but breakfast sandwich was sub-par. overall not a great experience.
I’m in Pittsburgh for work this week and Rock ‘n’ Joe’s was the 4th local coffee shop I tried. It was also the only good coffee I’ve gotten! It has unique syrups and the best atmosphere as well. I definitely plan to go again before I head back home
