Stopped in here for dinner today after wanting to try for some time! We sat at the bar but there were still some tables open around 5:30pm. We started with the beans and greens, which were tasty and nice and garlicky. However, I personally prefer escarole over the spinach that was used. For entrees, we got the chicken Alfredo and the stuffed banana pepper ravioli. Portions are enormous! Both entrees were good, but I misunderstood and thought the stuffed banana pepper ingredients were inside the raviolis. It’s actually cheese ravioli with everything on top.

My husband and I had our New Year’s Eve lunch at Roman Bistro in Forest Hills today. It was absolutely wonderful. Our server Greg was a delight. The food reminded me of grandma‘s house. The restaurant was all decked out in Holiday cheer and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive. An upscale place with a down home feel. Five stars doesn’t seem like enough.

You advertise yourself as an Italian restaurant. As a true Italian you eat your pasta al dente, not mush. Even after asking it’s still the same. My food was cold and when I asked the manager she asked if I have ever been here before. What does that mean honestly. I lived in Monroeville for 13 yrs and we decided to come back as id hope it changed. Nope and manger said .. the cooks have been here for 13 years. Maybe they should have a degree if you are advising that. And she only gave me 20 dollars off my 110 dollar bill. I will never come there again and nether should you! Terrible!

Beautiful restaurant. Really clean . Personable servers. They have fried zucchini. One of the best wine bars around. Thanks . I kinda get sick of the wooden tables and chairs instead of restaurant booths but it’s really well kept .

Rose and the Roman Bistro team did an excellent job supporting our group of 25+ plus. Our food was delicious - the cheese ravioli, salad and baked ziti were hits. David’s service for our guests was prompt. We recommend Roman Bistro for events. Thank you Rose.

Food is fabulous! Atmosphere and service was excellent however it was loud and a little hard to converse because of that.

Salads are delicious. Will be back for the crab cake and prime rib. Generous portions and nice plating are served. Service was not awesome the evening we were there but I hear that's uncommon. Cocktail menu is diverse and features seasonal beverages. Large bar area with severely seating sections to cater any occasion. Ample parking.
